Mark Campbell MJ, that food rocks!!! the chicken with peapods and wild rice,the turkey burger(with bbq sauce)and bout all the pasta's!!!! just hard to get used to eatin 10-12 oz instead of 549164110 oz!!!! You will rock it tho(if you get past first few days it will be cake oops nvm it will be easy lol!!!!!) cya slim(keep me posted!)

Janet Aarup (DeYoung) Wow, haven't been on here in awhile. Just wanted to let you know (those of you who aren't on FB) my family went to Gatlinburg, Tenn for Spring Break. Stopped in Louisville on the way home & had lunch with Bob & his family. There is a picture on my profile page here & on FB.

Everyone,

I would like to ask for your "prayers, positive thoughts, zen reflections, etc." regarding one of our cats. 3 years ago we took in a stray kitten with one ear, despite the fact that we already had 2 other cats, and despite the fact that my husband declared (out of the blue) that he was a cat "hater." He actually liked cats well enough until "his" cat dropped dead of a heart attack in our house. Anyway, because my husband's opinion does not really matter in our house (LOL, just joking) we decided to take in a third cat ... and paid handsomely for his ear to be fixed. Approximately 1 year after we took in Oliver, aka "New Kitty" he ran away. We (the kids and I) were devastated. He was a very special cat, with tons of character. We hoped that he would come home after a few days and when he didn't, we posted flyers, called the SPCA and animal shelters, set traps (caught a very wild, feral cat), etc., etc. After approximately 60 days went by we figured he wasn't coming home and decided to adopt another cat from the SPCA. We brought home Chloe, the only female cat we have. My husband was not happy but he was outvoted, of course!

Anyway, exactly 80 days after Oliver (New Kitty) disappeared, we were having happy hour on our porch and who should walk up but Oliver! I grabbed him and in my haste (he was very frightened) was severely scratched (I still have a scar on my lower neck). Nevertheless, I managed to get him in the house where he has been happy ever since. My husband's reaction was, "Great, now we have 4 of the fu*&ers."

Almost every day since Oliver came home, I have been thankful that he was home and have enjoyed his company and uniqueness (i.e., "I love you so much, Oliver, I'm so glad you're home"!) My son has written several essays about Oliver's loss and recovery, and Oliver's story is "legendary" in our neighborhood.

Last night he ran away again and we have not seen him since. While I am hopeful that he will again return, I am so afraid that he won't, or that something will happen to prevent his return.

Please keep him in your thoughts and prayers. And F@#% YOU ALL WHO HATE CATS (LOL! of course!!!!)

Haven't been around forever on the forum and thought I'd take a peek.

Phil, Love your post! Won't change anything, but still love it.

MJ, I assume Oliver is a boy. Unless you have him fixed (tell him to have frozen peas on hand) he will continue to stray like he's doing. On a positive note, Mark Campbell did the same thing all through his teens and twenties and seems to have turned out alright.

Kobie, Good to see you're still shaking things up.

In closing: i don't think hes proud to be an american!!!(we have saved the folks on the other side of the pond MANY times,but he and them think we should be as big of pussies as they are!!!)

Sorry been gone a while, in fact, I haven't even read the forum to catch up, but I did tell you all that I would probably fall off the face of the earth during Lobsterfest at work. Worked and worked and worked during this promo. Its the bomb. I am sure you all missed me terribly!! not! I see there is a link form facebook set up, I may try and look into that. Although I think facebook is a bit weird and narcissistic(sp??)
MJ I did see your post re you cat. I am so sorry, did he/she come home yet??

I am getting the boys a chinchilla for a pet. A friend of mine needs to find a home for hers cause she has a new baby and Frodo, the chinchilla, is feeling seriously neglected. So, I am soon to be the proud mama for a chinchilla. Is that not a fun word? Chin- chill-lah!!
I will read more on forum to catch up on the news.
Anybody watching Am Idol Still???? I am so glad the blind guy was dumped. Sorry, but he truly bugged me. I am sure he is very nice, but I just loved imitating his very odd facial expressions at work.

I have a question to all my peeps in TR land!!! Does it chap your ass(make you see red,get mad) when someone you know lies to you right in your face??? I myself, hate it(and end up avoiding them!) THEN HOW IN THE HELL DOES ANYONE(that agrees with me) WATCH MAINSTREAM MEDIA?????

I thought they are supposed to give us the news,not thier views!!!! We all grew up watching channel 2,5,7 and 9 didn't we? WELL I'M HERE TO TELL YOU, THEY ARE COMPLETELY BLOWING SMOKE UP YOUR ASS(and its very sad that some people have no clue that they are being betrayed, by the same stations that we grew up watching saturday morning cartoons on!!!!!

Homeland security and a ton more in this new world we got bullshitted into,need to be as tough on terrorist, cheaters, liars etc as they are on people that dont agree with them in thier own damn country!!!!
