A great friend to all he touched. Jeff was the life of the party and his untimely death was a shock to all who knew him. His funeral was bursting at the seams with people that loved him. He had mannerisms and a distinct personality all his own. Gentle with a certain amount of vulnerability combined with biting wit. He was a gentleman and a lovable goofball mixed up in a blender to make the perfect person we all wanted to be around. His life was full of promise and his death was tragic and unfair and none of us will ever forget the day we heard the news. I remember him being an incredibly loyal friend to Jon Cook and vice versa. They shared one of those special bonds that do not happen often in our lifetime. The kind that people notice and remember…even 20 years later. I am sure we all still think of Jeff often and chuckle quietly when you remember that little white truck...what was its’ name again? The “Rockin’ Ranger”? He will be sorely missed at our upcoming reunion as that would have been one party he would have definitely wanted to be a part of.

What an awesome person. One of the funniest and most kind-hearted individuals I've ever had the pleasure of knowing, and calling my friend. It is a great loss to all of us in this world that Jeff had to leave early.Kristie Tamburello (Fields)
How devastated we all were when Jeff died. I still think about him. I had some really good times with Jeff. Times like this, with the reunion coming up, make me wonder what he would be doing today!Corrie Lovelace
Sorry to hear about Jeff's passing. I remember him in school as being a very funny guy. He was alway smiling whenever i saw him. Jeff, rest in peace.Susan White (Davidson)
I don't think I will every forget sitting in Ms. Yates class watching the commercials she made us make for English. And there was Jeff as "Captain Condom" warning people in the hall to "wrap that rascal". I don't think I have every laughed that hard.Stephanie Washington (Johnston)
It was very exciting to find out about this website and very sad to see the ones that have left us.....Could anyone tell me how Jeff died?
