In Memory

Tracy White

Mr. Tracy Lee White
January 28, 1970 - July 11, 2008
Mr. Tracy Lee White, age 38, was born in Douglas County, Douglasville, GA on January 28, 1970 to Flora Mae White and the late Ralph Nathaniel White, Sr. Tracy departed this earthly life on Friday, July 11, 2008. Although he never married he left behind many fiends and family. He attended Douglas County High School and was a member of the Macedonia First Baptist Church of Villa Rica, GA. He was a beloved son, brother, and friend. Mr. White was a unique and special person that touched the lives of everyone he knew. He was always willing to lend a hand to someone in need. He loved to laugh and had a great sense of humor. He enjoyed going to his nephew’s baseball games to cheer him on. Those that knew him best would describe him as a very private and proud-full person. He was never one to ask for help with anything he felt he could research and gain knowledge for himself. He enjoyed working on home improvement projects. He would often fix things without being asked. His hobbies included computers and video games. He loved learning new things and would spend many an hour researching topics on his computer to increase his knowledge. He will forever have a special place in our hearts.

He leaves to cherish his memory, mother Flora Mae White; two brothers, Ralph Nathaniel White, Jr. of Daytona Beach and Ricky Darrell White of Douglasville; two nephews, Trenton Darrell White of Douglasville and Austin Taylor White of Daytona Beach; one niece Kristina Marie White of Daytona Beach; sister-in-law Molly Sonia White of Daytona Beach; one maternal aunt Lizzie Lou Pounds of Douglasville; two paternal aunts Ms. Bernice West and Louise Bankston of Atlanta; a host of other cousins, relatives, and friends.

Tracy was a very special person.  So saddened to hear of this loss.  Every time I drive down Chicago Avenue I always look for him on his old front porch.  What a loss for all the people he crossed paths with.  Not only was he always smiling but he always managed to make me smile too.
