I remember playing 8th grade basketball with Terry and one game in particular against Blacksburg. There was only a minute or two left, we were getting killed and Terry hadn't played much. So when he got back into the game and got his hands on the ball he took off as fast as he could go and all of a sudden pulled up just inside half court and threw up a wild shot. Mickey Hickman yelled "Spangler what are you doing??!!!" or something like that. And then the ball went in! Mickey started laughing and Terry was running back down the court smiling and looking over at the bench like "What?"
