Danny and I hung out with some mutual friends. He had a pleasant personality. I also perceived that Danny was more intelligent than the average person. His words, when he did speak, seemed well chosen, having thought behind them.
I first met danny in the clarmont days we were good friends we both had paper rts that were close togather and we would help each other out so we could have more time to hang out.I remember one day after school i was getting on the bus and i ask him to race the bus on his bike all the way to my stop and all of us kids were hanging out the windows cheering him on the bus driver was scared to death he was going to hit him,well the next day MR HOTZE(sorry if i spelled wrong)had a talk with us,i did talk to him our last reunion and he said certin parts of his body still hurt then as well as mine. I lost track after school but its always a smack in the face when you pick up the paper and see one of your friends has died. rest in peace( James Rupe)
