of Route 2, Stony Point, N.C.-.
and formerly of Pulaski, died
Sunday, July 17, 1994 in
Statesville, N.C. from injuries
he received in a motorcycle
accident.
He was born Jan. 8,1960 in
Cleveland, Ohio.
Surviving are his father,
Robert L. Stafford of Garner,
N.C..; his mother and stepfather,
Martha Hawkins Welch
and J.C. Welch of PulaskiT
one son, Christopher Lee
Stafford of Newborn; one
daughter, Kristina Danette
Stafford of Statesville, N.C.;
his grandparents, Mr. and
Mrs. Arthur Hawkins of
Pulaski and Janie Stafford of
Staffordsville; one brother,
Gary L. Stafford of Pulaski;
one stepbrother, Ricky
Welch of Pigeon Forge,
Tenn.; and one stepsister,
Karen Baker of Sevierville,
Tenn.
The funeral will be 11 a.m.
Thursday at Stevens Funeral
Chapel, Pulaski, with the
Rev, Sonny Honaker officiating.
Burial will be in the Thornspring
Cemetery, Pulaski
County.:
The family will receive
friends from 7 to 9 p.m.
Wednesday at Stevens
Funeral Home, Pulaski.

Phil was a very nice person and fun to be around. He had a couple of brothers that also attended PCHS. They seemed like not only brothers, but friends. Once we had the same girlfriend...but at different times.
