Randy J. Beauchamp, 67, a resident of Davenport, went to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Thursday, October 19, 2017.

Funeral services to celebrate Randy’s life will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, October 23, 2017 at Adventure Christian Community Church, 6509 Northwest Blvd., Davenport. Burial will be in National Cemetery, Rock Island Arsenal with military honors. The family will greet friends Monday at the church from 10:00 a.m. until the service time.  Memorials may be made to the family. Halligan McCabe DeVries Funeral Home assisted his family with arrangements.

 

Randy Jo Beauchamp was born on May 22, 1950 in Dubuque, a son of Eldon and Irene (Wehrspann) Beauchamp. Randy proudly served in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Vietnam War.

 

He had worked at Flexsteel in Dubuque for many years.

 

Randy gave his life to Christ and cherished his friends at Adventure Church. His favorite Bible verse was, “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me” (Phil. 4:13). He enjoyed spending time with family, playing guitars, and collecting and shooting his guns.

Randy is survived by his children; Eric (Angela) Beauchamp, Dubuque, Brian (Rachel) Beauchamp, Waco, TX, Andrea (Tony) Huebbe, Davenport, and Adam Beauchamp, Oxford, IA; 11 grandchildren; Ian, Iliana, Paige, Paris, Josiah, Holland, Sirius, Talan, Aarison, Eevee, and Lainie; three sisters; Connie Baker, Dubuque, Susan Kelly, Bernard, IA, and Lisa (Paul) Harrington, Fairport, IA and numerous loving extended family and friends.

 

He was preceded in death by his parents.
