Sorry that I will be missing the 50th Class of 1068 reunion event in Dubuque this year. I will be hoping to join and go to my brother Benny's 50th Class of 1969 reunion in 2019. Maybe I will seeing some of my 1968 classmates at this event too.

Good morning,  I was planning to attend the reunion tonight, however, I recently had a hip replacement...three weeks ago...and while my recovery is going well, I feel it’s in my best interest not to attend the festivities tonight.   However, my husband, bless his heart, and I are venturing to Dubuque just for the day on Saturday to meet up with some friends.  We’ll be lunching at Vinnis on Main...so if in the area, stop in to say hi.  I have the best memories of our high school years together...what fun we had!  Best wishes for a great time tonight as you rekindle friendships and build new memories. So wish I could have attended.  Have fun!  Blessings to all!

Many thanks to Wes, Nan, Patsy, and the other Planning Committee members for planning and executing a major event, our 50th class reunion.   Your time & efforts are truly appreciated by myself and by all those who attended.    Great job  !!

I echo Ron's remarks -- the planning committee did a wonderful job organizing a terrific event to mark a special milestone in our lives.  It was great to once again see classmates who have celebrated other reunions together.  But, more exciting was seeing those who have not been at past reunions.  I look forward to seeing you all again in five years!!

What a great weekend; the Friday night party, touring the renovated Senior High and the Saturday night reunion party.  Many thanks to the hard work of the reunion committee for planning the perfect weekend.  Also, what a terrific idea of having the Friday night party include Wahlert, Senior and the Visitation.  I'm already looking forward to my wifes 50th (class of '70 Visitation) and our 55th.
