Dolores "Dee" Rita Breitbach Manderscheid

Dolores “Dee” Manderscheid, was born on February 7, 1950 and passed away on April 8, 2025 peacefully surrounded by family at the hospital, under hospice care. She is survived by her loving husband, David “Dave” Manderscheid, of 56 years; 3 children: Rita “Shelly” Manderscheid, David Manderscheid & Carrie Keiper; 5 grandchildren: Robert (Maddie), Rachelle, Erika, Emily & Colin; 6 great-grandchildren; 2 sisters Carol (Rudy) Kalan & Sandy (Joe) Bushman; sisters-in-law Rosalyn “Cookie” Field & Pattie Husemann and many nieces, nephews and cousins. She retired from the Telecommunications Industry as a supervisor for Frontier. She was a very active member of Holy Cross Catholic Church in Palmetto, FL for over 50 years. She loved to sing in the choir and cantor at Mass. The choir was like a family to her. She loved her family & friends and expressed it! If you ever needed help, encouragement or affirmation, she was your girl. She is preceded in death by her parents Irvin “Ike” & Rita Breitbach; sister Joyce (Colin) Chase; parents- in-law Merlin & Rosalyn Manderscheid, sister-in-law Donna Lang, brothers-in-law Wayne Manderscheid, James Field Jr and Ben Husemann. Funeral Mass will be Thursday May 8, 2025 11:00am at Holy Cross Catholic Church, 505 26th St W Palmetto, FL 34221.
