Patricia K. Folger (Harris)

Patricia “Patty” (Folger) Harris, 75, of Marion passed away suddenly on July 16th, 2025.

Patty was born in Dubuque on May 6th , 1950. She is the daughter of Merlyn “Pat” Folger and Catherine (Davis) Folger.

She is survived by her sister Judy Folger of Dubuque, children Steve (Dana) Harris of Iowa City and Amy (Ryan) Harris Flatt of Marion, Grandchildren McKenna, Connor, Jena, Gavin, Skyla, and Jesse, nieces and nephews, and her beloved cat Lily.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers Ron Folger, Bill Folger, and sister-in-law Trish Folger.

A private family gathering will take place at a later date.

Note from Wes: I remember Patty from junior and senior high schools as kind and friendly.  Sheila Clark (Kueper) told me that after her divorce in her mid thirties, Patty went back to Dubuque and attended Clarke College where she graduated with a degree in Social Work.  That takes courage, a great deal of it!
