Michael Joseph Gilligan

Michael J. Gilligan, 59, of 513 Garfield Ave., No. 211, died at 10:48 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 29, 2009, at home.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday, Oct. 2, at Leonard Funeral Home & Crematory, 2595 Rockdale Road, where friends may call after noon. Burial will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Key West, Iowa.

Michael was born on June 6, 1950, in Dubuque, son of Clarence M. and Adele R. (Potter) Gilligan. He graduated from Dubuque Senior High School in 1969.

Surviving are a brother, Mark Gilligan, of Milwaukee, and a sister, Carol Gilligan, of Colorado.
