James J. "Haudi" Haudenshield, age 57, 2117 Cheyenne Way, Dubuque, Iowa

Died peacefully at home on Monday,October 15, 2007

The visitation will be from 3:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday at Behr's, 1491 Main Street.  The Parish Wake Service will be said at Behr's on Thursday at 5:00 p.m.  The Loyal Order of the Moose, Lodge #355, are to meet at Behr's on Thursday evening at 6:30 p.m.

Funeral Services will be Friday at Sacred Heart Church, 2215 Windsor Ave., at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. Thomas R. Zinkula officiating.

James J. Haudenshield was born March 13, 1950 in Cuba City, Wisconsin- Son of Sidney and Adele (Leiser) Haudenshield. Jim attended grade school and 2 years of high school at St. Rose of Lima in Cuba City, Wisconsin. After moving to Dubuque, Jim graduated from Dubuque Seior High School, Class of 1968.  He was formerly employed at Flexsteel Industries for 37 years and was a millworker for 25 of those years until his health caused his retirement on
March 8, 2005.

Jim married Joyce Kane on Sept. 13, 1980 at St. Joseph Prairie Church. He loved to go to Las Vegas with his loving wife, Joyce. He was an avid Chicago Bears and Chicago Cubs fan. Jim thoroughly enjoyed gambling, ballgames, bowling, playing with his dog, Ben, and just teasing Joyce.  Jim will be sadly missed by his family and friends and all who knew him.

Survived By: Joyce Haudenshield, Wife, Dubuque, IA; Michael and Theresa Haudenshield, Son, Durant, IA; Nathan and Stephanie Haudenshield, Beautiful grandchildren

Interment will be in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Dubuque, Iowa
