Dear wife of R. Bruce Harbeson; beloved daughter of Astrid L. Shike and the late Lawrence W. Shike; loving mother of Brian J. Hedrick (Cherie); proud grandmother of Mallory Hedrick; dear sister of Barbara A. Shike Arne (David) and William L. Shike (Cathy); beloved aunt of Jenna and Michelle Shike and Allison, Sara and Alex Arne.

Sue was a member of Project Linus, an organization that makes baby blankets for ill babies in the hospital. She was a member of The Lupus Foundation, The Arthritis Foundation and The College Placement Council. Sue received her Master's Degree in Human Resource Management from Washington University in St. Louis.Services: The family is being served by the BAUE Funeral and Memorial Center, 3950 West Clay, St. Charles MO. There is no public visitation. A Memorial Service will be held Sunday, October 29, 2006, 2:00 PM in The Baue Chapel. Interment Private. Memorials may be made to The Arthritis Foundation for Lupus Research.
