Barbara J Joslyn, 60, of Bernard, Iowa, formerly of Dubuque, passed away Wednesday, April 21, 2010, at Ennoble Manor.

In honoring Barb and keeping with her wishes, there will be no wake or funeral services. Private family services will be held at a later date. The Leonard Funeral Home, 2595 Rockdale Road, is in charge of arrangements.

She was born on Feb. 7, 1950, in Dubuque, daughter of Fred and Jeanne (Freeman) Sinhold. She married her best friend, Josh, on July 22, 2000, and appreciated his unconditional love.

Barb had a great sense of humor. A practical joke and confetti were never far from her thoughts or actions. She was a fantastic cook and meticulous housekeeper. She very much enjoyed her Monday Fundays with daughter and friend, Kari. Barb had a heart of gold and loved her grandchildren very much. She was very proud of her daughter Lori for her accomplishments and of the mother that Lori is. Her memory will live on within forever -- Soar with the Eagles, Mom!

Surviving are her husband, Garry "Josh" Joslyn, of Bernard, Iowa; three children, Jimmie Becker, of East Dubuque, Ill., Lori (Mike) Westmark and Kari Becker, both of Dubuque; five grandchildren, Jordan Stockert Becker, of Colorado, Justin, Brandan, Megan and Andrew Westmark, all of Dubuque; a sister, Carol (Tim) Tuthill, of Durango, Iowa; two nieces, Becky Maas, of Dubuque, and Tina Sinhold, of Montana; and a nephew, Nick Sinhold, of Montana.

She was preceded in death by her son, Kieth; her brother, Jim Sinhold; two nephews, Bobby Miller and Jessi Sinhold; grandparents, James and Margaret Freeman; and Grandma Winders.
