I started an oil service company in 1983 and just sold it in 2008. I now have a construction company that builds hotels for the oil industry as well as airplane hanger and facilities at the airports.
After living in a small town in Montana then moving to L.A. my best memeory was gettting back to a small town and school. Being able to do whatever you wanted, sports etc. because of the small number of students. Didn't really even realize what we had untill I talk to people who went to these huge schools. Much closer bunch.
Family moving to Alaska and missing some of my senior year until I made arrangements to stay with people and get to come back and finish. Made me ineligable to play baseball which I really enjoyed.
Just that I have been very fortunate in life, worked hard but got some good breaks. Built a company from 1 to 169 employees when I sold and left with the best safety record in the Alaska oilfield. Never got sued in 25 years so must have treated everybody ok.
