I will never forget the first time I saw this guy on a newsreel at the 20th Century cinema in Smith Street belting out this number. Geoff Caruth and a few other mates were with me. We KNEW that he'd make it BIG. In the early 70's I had the chance to see him live at the 3 Arts Theatre in Cape Town. Anyone else see him on that tour to SA?
