Remembrance submitted by Yvonne's brother, Oran Turner

Yvonne (Turner) Hooks of Las Vegas, NV passed away April 1, 2022. Affectionately known to family and friends as Bonni, she had a vibrant love for writing, poetry and admiring God's amazing creation. She graduated from Long Beach City College, Long Beach, CA. After retiring from the Los Angeles County administration, she married her "soul mate" Donald Hooks and moved to Oklahoma City, OK, then settled in Las Vegas. Bonni fulfilled her life-long dream of having her books published with three recently posted on Amazon. Bonni had a wonderful sense of humor and an amazing energy for organizing and orchestrating events and was always volunteering to help others. She is survived by her daughter, son and nine grandchildren all in California and 4 siblings. She is preceded in death by husband Don, mother and father and three siblings.

I'd like to send my condolences to the family of Yvonne along with the Bible's promise of a resurrection for our dead loved ones.
Acts 24:15, John 5:28, 29.

Death indeed is an enemy, yet soon our Heavenly Father Jehovah God will remember our loved ones asleep in death and bring them back to life in an earthly paradise. All the heartache and pain experienced by mankind will be a thing of the past. Rev 21:3, 4.
May this hope bring you the comfort that you need at this time!
