Anthon “Tony” Allen Brunner, 54, passed away shortly after being diagnosed with Stage 4 Lung Cancer at Mayo Clinic Health System - Eau Claire on Thursday, June 6, 2024.

Tony was born to Marjorie “Marg” Brantner and Derald “Dotch” Brunner on March 26, 1970. He graduated from Memorial High School in 1989. He married Sheila Mentor on July 13, 2001.

Tony had a variety of jobs, he worked hard for many years with his brother Dave in construction. They always had an excuse as to why they had to stop work early, where they ended up at the bar or drinking in the shop. Tony enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, grilling out, drinking and having safety meetings. He loved spending time with his family, especially his dad (old boy) and brother Dave who he considered his best friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents, and his little brother Gregory “Buck”.

Julia (Cody) Hammerle, Jordan (Jake) Brunner, and Morgan (Grace) Brunner; brother Dave (Shiela); niece Kara (David) Lindblad; nephew Shawn (Kelsey) Brunner; great nephew Holden Lindblad; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Celebration of Life will be from 1:30 PM - 5:00 PM with a Prayer Service held at 5:00 PM on Friday, June 14, 2024, at Chippewa Valley Cremation Services and Celebration of Life Center, 1717 Devney Drive, Altoona, WI 54720.
