Curtis (Curt) Lee Unruh, age 43 of Menominee, MI passed away unexpectedly at his companion’s home on January 6, 2014. Curt was born November 3, 1970 in St. Paul, MN. He was the son of Lenny and Gerry Lynne Unruh of Holcombe, WI.

Curt served his country proudly after completing High School at Memorial Senior High. After his tour with the United States Army he was honorably discharged in 1991. He returned to Eau Claire to continue his sales career with the family business Funtime Foods. Curt furthered his sales career by working into the Pet Food Industry. He was currently employed with HI-Tek Industries out of Georgia and was responsible for sales/distribution throughout the U.S.

Curt will always be remembered for his ability tell and animate stories. The way in which he loved to tease, laugh and joke with family and friends will be missed. Curt was an avid hockey player and enjoyed Kayaking, fishing and the great outdoors. He loved spending time and money with his nephew Ayden. He was beloved by many and will be dearly missed by all that had the privilege to know him.

Curt is survived by his father, Lenny, sister Stacy, brother-in-law Chad and his nephew Ayden. He is preceded in death by his mother, Gerry Lynne, on October 31, 2013.

In accordance with Curt’s wishes, no public services or visitation will be held. Family and Friends will be invited to a private Celebration of Life for Curt and Gerry Lynne when weather permits.
