Ronald D. “Ron” Anderson, age 32, of Bloomer died suddenly on Monday at Luther Hospital due to a motorcycle accident.
Ron was born on September 16, 1970, in Eau Claire to Ronald and Vicki (Simonson) Anderson. He was a 1989 graduate of Memorial High School. On February 16, 2003, Ron married Sandra Putney at the Rutledge Manson in Chippewa Falls. Ron worked as a realtor at Prudential-Benrud Realty. He loved hunting, horses, riding his Harley and being with his family. He will be greatly missed.
Ron is survived by his wife, Sandra; stepchildren, Jessica K. Putney and Dillon C. Thorpe; parents Ronald and Vicki Anderson, of Eleva; sister, Jackie (Paul) Barstad of Eleva; brother, Mark (Marisa) Anderson of Eau Claire; nieces and nephews, Jonah, Jordan, Josie and Madelyn; grandmothers, Beulah Anderson of Eleva and Fern Simonson of Eau Claire; aunts, uncles, cousins; and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Selmer Anderson and Raymond Simonson.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, September 5, 2003, at Zion Lutheran Church in Cleghorn with the Rev. Roger D. Eden officiating. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Evergreen Funeral Home, Golf Road (one block east of Highway 93) and a half-hour prior to services at the church. Interment will be in the church cemetery.
