Joined the Air Force in 1968 and was stationed at the Pentagon in Arlington Va. for my entire tour.
Graduated from Northern Virginia Community College and then on to George Mason University back when it was a small school with no basketball team ( A powerhouse in the division now). Thank you GI Bill. In 1979 I was transferred to Houston by Premier Industrial Corp, a company out of Cleveland and stayed 20yrs. The 80's were boom years in Houston for RE so with a lot of help started a RE holding company called The Eastex Heritage Company focusing on single family houses and small apartment buildings. In 2002 I was approached by a much larger investor who bought most everything and I retired. We lived in St. Pete Beach for years and still have a home there but Jan was lonesome for Houston and back we went. If anyone does read this and get down south give me a shout. I make a good tour guide in Houston or Tampa.

School Story:Optional

Most of my favorite or funny school stories might not travel the years well ... except for one. Bernie B and I use to get in our share of scrapes together. He'd come up with the idea and I'd do the deed. Bernie got hold of a M80 and thought it would be a pity to waste a good firecracker. Zac Epp always "set" his locker so he didn't have to use the combination. With Bernie as lookout I opened the locker door, set the M80 on the top shelf and lit the fuse. I closed the locker door and slinked away. When it went off the door flew open kids started screaming and papers went everywhere. Today it might be looked at as a terrorist act. The door and shelf were mangled. For some reason I was suspected. The Rock called me in his office and kicked me half a dozen times or so but I never would confess. Bernie got the same treatment but mum was the word. He and I got a lot of laughs about that over the years . I sure do miss him.

Happy Birthday Buddy. Looks like Fl. is getting the heavy weather this year, hope it missed you and yours. The house I sold last year was in Gulfport Fl. about 1/4 mile from some of the hardest hit areas. Got lucky on that one Stay dry.... Lonne

Suzie Q and a happy birthday to you. My sister told me she met you and was informed of all the nasty things I did when I was a kidd. Of course, I denied it. I remember my childhood as being a quiet, respectful always obedient church goer. Good thing it's my word against the masses. Hope all is well.
