School Story
I have been the beneficiary of many interesting/strange (toss up as to which is a more apt descriptor) experiences. Hired Bruce Jenner when he was a man for the Wheaties business. Stinted as the token heterosexual in a San Francisco-based retail decorating chain. Helped start a national cremation business (neither the jingle "Bake Someone Happy" nor the Colonel Cinders character quite caught on). Served 8 years in Cleveland before being paroled to Seattle. Took a company public that had a market cap bigger than Boeing (for about a week just before the .com bubble burst) and managed to produce two children -- one of which I'm not terribly certain about, since he surely didn't get his athletic abilities from me (the UPS driver in Eden Prairie was pretty buff, as I recall, though). Keeping my statute of Saint Jude close to my Mariners bobblehead collection.
