Mike was a good kid who lived down the block from me on Hollings St. I remember I was in the Navy in 1970 sailing in the Mediterranean when I received a letter from my mom that Mike, and I believe his girlfriend, were involved in an auto accident on Hiway 54 where upon they were struck headon by another vehicle.
