Christine:   I know you were complimenting me; my response was not meant to disrespect you or anyone.  It was intended as example of my very sick humor and how truth can be fiction (or vice versa, I am not sure).

Fran:  Only once, and I was very drunk.

Do all of you know that Christine's older brother was in a movie at the Jonhson and Johnson pavilion at the 1963 World's Fair; he was doing a pole vault, and I like to think he was wearing an EMHS shirt!

Something else to think about; what songs will be hummed.  I have been practicing one of my favorites:  For Emily Wherever I May find Her.   I love that song, but it does not hum well.   I suggest that we all give deep thought to your personal selections, and practice, practice, practice.

I do not let poly ticks get to me.  I use A 200.  Its all in fun.

Been trying to get a room and there are none available at the hotel under our contract, are we getting anymore rooms?  Twenty rooms really were not enough.

Hi Angela   I reserved 33 rooms and they all have been taken. I have to book blocks of at least 10 rooms to get us the group discount. They still have more rooms so I would suggest you reserve at the best rate you can get (they do give other discounts) and if we get enough for another block I will set it up and you could move into that group. We are looking for enough that are staying Friday night as well, and we are halfway there for that night also.

Virginia Theroux (Heacox)

Hi, all ~

I think this tip can help us with rooms for Friday night. Be sure you reserve a room for Friday night as well (like Frank just mentioned" and tell them to move you over to the "Reunion discount rate" if the block becomes available. I feel like I have read of several here that posted they are staying both nights. Let's make sure the Hotel Staff knows we are interested in the "Block" when it hopefully becomes available. We may already be closer to "10" than we realize... It's going to be great getting together! ~ Ginger

I was just thinking about some of the high school friends who if I remember correctly didn't show for our 40th reunion (and maybe not for the ones before). I know we all have a "What ever happened to?" list but here's just part of mine. What ever happened to: Kenny Rosen, George Piper, Jonathon Goldstein, Bob Goldstein, Eddie Meslin, Roy Klein, Barry Spass, Marty Solomon, Paul Rosenberg, Laurie Malcolm, Paulette Atlas, Harriet Rosenbaum, Ted Levy, Susan Demos, Dave Rubin, Richie Meyers, Rhonda Shultz, Audrey Stein... I think I should probably stop here. So, what ever happened to these people? I hope to see some at the reunion.

I too was in touch with Seth Wittner TIL about a year ago and then nothing. I have no idea. I’m in Florida now but will be home to my big trusty computer next week and start doing searches for classmates that were in touch and now nothing

Hi All,

I also am looking forward to the reunion, to seeing and catching up with many of you, and reminiscing about our times at EMHS. Thanks to Robin (Osterweil) Rosoff for getting in touch and letting me know about the reunion! The 25th was the best. I remember that a group of us went out to a diner after the official festivities were over and didn't leave until 4:00 a.m. So much to talk and laugh about. This one should be great too!

Don't forget--if you cannot get a room at the hotel, there's always AirBnB!

See you all soon! Marsha Perlmutter Kalina

Hi Roy

I saw that u mentioned George Pieper as "among the missing" but he's alive & well. Lol

He's my brother-in-law's brother & also my next store neighbor so I see him quite often.

He's away traveling the country with his wife right now & knows about the reunion so hopefully he will be on board. I'll see him soon & let him know that u were asking about him.

Looking forward to seeing everyone at the reunion....

I also have a list of probables and again have only heard from 7 people that for one reason or another cannot come. Lots of spouses are coming so we will have a complete list when we get closer to the date posted.

I'd like you all to reach out to your old long lost school pals so that everyone can be invited. I really would hate to have someone not hear about the reunion until it was too late. If anyone wants to help with getting the word out I will send you the class contact list from our last reunion to work with. Also please dig out your old phone books as there are a bunch of us that might need Sherlock Holmes to help find - but lets give it our best effort.

Let's not leave anyone out. If I missed someone let me know. Thanks Everyone.

Hi Frank ~ Once again, thanks for all your efforts putting our 50th Reunion together -- not an easy task to undertake -- kudos to you.  I noticed my name was missing from the list of attendees.  Please know my husband and I will be there.  I think I probably messed up answering you by e-mail instead of on this page.

Thank you again and happy spring (if it ever gets here). smiley

I was in touch with Dennis Wheatley and he will not be able to attend.

Also every Sunday in Newsday they have a section for class reunions. Maybe you could post it for our reunion.

Thanks for setting the reunion up. I am looking forward to it.
