This has been an extremely difficult decision for me to make. But, unfortunately, I will not be attending the reunion. The date, October 20th, had been selected for my grandsons birthday party before I found out that a 50th class reunion was going to occur. I have asked if they could consider changing the date for the birthday party but apparently there are several conflicting activities that will not permit a change in that date.
So, I had to continually consider an immediate family (4 sons, 3 daugther-in-laws and 6 grandchildren) get togehter against a class reunion. And in my mind I was thinking that the Class of 68 that I/we belonged to was also somewhat of a family and it would be great to see that family again. But at the end I feel as though I have to choose my immediate family. Sorry.
Please have a great time together. Share some great memories, stories and hopefully have quite a few laughs togehter. Perhaps you might remember things that happened in Mr. Geiles Social Studies class, Miss Hasselbrack's Math class or Mr. Ohriner's ("Mr. O") Physics class. Or maybe even Mr. Bongiorno's Gym class.
And for my baseball teammates - hit it big!
To All, Have a Great Time!!
