Jan Johnson Johnson has left an In Memory comment for Randy Metcalf.

Randy wasn't with us long, but he was in my biology class, and he was so sweet.  He let me watch while he cut up the frog so I wouldn't have to.  It was such a tragedy that he lost his life so young.   I've thought of him many times over the years, and always remembered him with a sweet spirit.  So sad.

You guys might remember the girl with the long name (Minaberrigaray) and I went by my real name of Jeannette. Now that I've seen so many of your pictures, I'm remembering more and more about the good old days. I worked over at the Sheldon-Meadow Pool for almost three years after graduation, then my husband and I moved to LaPine and built a log cabin. Those were my hippy years. We moved around quite a bit from Bend to Beaverton then to Northern Virginia. Finally we made it back to the Eugene area, and it was good to be home. I was divorced over twenty years ago now, and my kids and grandkids all live in the area, so I'm happily "down on the farm" and enjoying life.

I really enjoyed high school, but I was kind of shy. There were so many of you I should have gotten to know better. Fifty years....who can believe it's been that long?
