I have 4 'kids' who came into my life as adults. I consider them to be mine. That gives me a total of 6. It also increases my grandma count to 10.

Since I graduated I have raised a family, divorced, taught school, and retired. I now support, in any way I can, my children. Currently I am living with my daughter and her hubby and helping with their three kids, (2year old, 8year old, 10 year old) as she returns to school for her PhD in Communication. Not sure what will be next for me. I will decide in 4 years, when she is finished.

I did not serve in the military as normally defined but I feel I served. I had two children in the military and one in government service related to the military. As a mom I did my duty to support them emotionally and financially. I continue to support them as they struggle with PTSD. I am truly there for them at any time day or night 24/7/12. I served and continue to serve.

I don't have any funny stories from High School. I do have a favorite memory. After school I was working on a project in Biology. I was using acetone in the project. I was working away and in walks the instructor. He immediately hit the vent fan and said to me, "What are you doing?" I said I was working on my project. I couldn't smell the fumes. I was fortunate he came in when he did or I might be dead or brain damaged. Thank you Mr. Frazer. ( Hope I spelled that correctly) I really enjoyed the project and wish I had followed up on a degree in Biology. That was another time in history and I became a teacher instead.
