I call Fairborn my magic high school. I was only there for my senior year. I felt everyone was accepted. Anything positive was encouraged. People could wear overalls or suits and not be judged. Guys could get prestige out of choir or football. A male baton twirler that was cheered! Magic! My experience made me more positive.
Was sorry to hear of his passing, he married one of me best friend's from high school Jane Dirlam. I fondly remember him on a tripple date picnic that Jane, Kathy Stout, and I planned in high schoo with beaus at the time. He was very charming.
