Good Morning everyone....It is a sunny and breezy day today...Temps are to be around 100...UGH....We did get a bit of rain while we were gone, but of course it was spotty, so some fields got more than others...We can still use some more....

Well, I'm back from my wonderful vacation...It was a great week with the kids and Tylers girlfriend...Was very relaxing, and funfilled...:) Wasn't quite ready to come back home yet, but that is the way it is...Back to the world of work....My laundry room is full of dirty clothes so think I best get that done for sure today...I got all the unpacking done yesterday so that is a good feeling...Need to do the grocery shopping as well so I can get back to my cooking meals again...:( ... It is good to be home in a sense, but I sure enjoyed not having the stress and daily routines while we were gone...But that is what life is all about...

NIPPLER...WTH DO YOU MEAN I'M ON VACATION ALL THE TIME...GEEEEZZZZZZ.....I THINK I READ YOU JUST GOT BACK FROM VACATION, PLUS YOU DID A 4TH OF JULY WEEKEND, UGH...WHO IS ON VACATION ALL THE TIME?????? Keilwitz...Sounds like you have been having some wonderful weather out your way....It is hard to believe that last Saturday at the Ozarks we could of very well used a jacket out on the boat....Then it warmed up, but only really had 1 really hot day...Hope all is well at your homefront...Thanks for coming on the website while I was gone and help keep it going...Good Job...

Top of the morning to you all....Yesterday was a hot hot windy day...WHEW..(Kind of like when messing talks, a lot of hot air blowing around)....I just had to say it Nippler, Just kidding....I'm glad the whole summer hasn't been like yesterday...100 degrees here in F-Town...Was a little too warm for this old gal yesterday...It is to cool down to around 90 today so hopefully we will have some relief...We have overcast skies this morning, with some thunder and a few drops...I'm praying to get about 2 inches of rain...But will take every drop we can get at this point...

KEILWITZ...Where were you yesterday when I needed help with all this damn laundry...I still have about 3 loads to go today...WHEW...Yes, a vacation does mean a laundry room full of dirty, smelly clothes..LOL....Man it sounds like you have had some great weather there...You may have the garden of the year this year...I don't think Nippler and Little Buddy have any produce growing...They act like they do, but who knows...LOL...Hope you are getting to enjoy your weekend....Take Care....

Man the crops looked good down your way on our way home...So the calving has started for you...Oh how the time flies....DO NOT be falling down this fall and hurting the back again...YIKES...Those ranchers need you girl...They may act like they can do it all on their own, but they couldn't get along without you...:) When does Lily start school??? Is she excited??? Cindy....Yes, the crops do look good down this way...I don't think the beans have EVER looked better! I'm still praying you will get rain! The guys are putting up the last of the prairie hay...the way this wind is blowing we can almost mow in the morning and put it up early evening. Yes, my grandbaby, Lily will start school the 19th, makes me sad, she is growing up toooooo fast! She mainly has boys in her class, so it should be interesting! She spent the night here last night...she is going through the encyclopedia, asking me a 1000 questions. I think I'm watching both of them this afternoon....both Ginger and Ashley are judging horse shows....Ashley at Hutchinson and Ginger at a local show, Overbrook.

Good Monday Morning!!!!! Well, it is the beginning of a new week...I woke up to a very foggy F-Town this morning...It is starting to lift now, so I will be able to see out my windows again soon...We got a small amount of rain yesterday here, don't know what the measurements are yet, as Big Jer has not reported in yet...I would say no more than .30 if I were guessing here all together...We had a couple little rain showers go through and looking at the radar it looked pretty scattered....Probably rained everywhere but our fields...LOL...I should not of LOL on the last statement it is probably true...

Nippler...Me miss you???? Are you kidding me??? How can I miss someone I never get to talk with???? .....Get on your puter and talk to me...Geeeez....Hope you have a wonderful week...It will be more wonderful if you get to talk to me...I do miss you....HUGGGSSSSSS

Sweet Pea...So glad you got some rain...It looked pretty spotted here and not any great amounts...I don't think this was a good year to be first time corn growers...It is putting my grumpy husband in an even worse mood...I love a grumpy farmer...LOL...Glad the haying is finished for you...Now what is the next project going to be??? Oh my Cindy....I feel for you and Jerry! I don't even want to tell you we just got another 1.5 inches in the last 24 hours. Besides the crops needing it, we needed it to shut this group down for a day or two.....kind of like the calm before the storm! Calving...chopping corn... 4th cutting of alfalfa....more water tank projects to finish...fencing projects, all in the next month and a half, I'm sure Dave will add to this list!

Good Morning all...It is a bright and sun shiny day today in Fairbury, Ne....Well, as usual we ended up getting a few sprinkles not enough to register in the old rain gauge...The forecast has a chance for this Saturday, so guess we will have to wait a while longer...The temps are to be around 90 this week, so that will be good for all...:0)

It is hard to believe that the time is here already for school to begin...WHEW...Where did the summer go???? I'm starting to get in a hum-drum mood, knowing my 20 year old baby will be leaving me again...I think he has had about enough of living with his Mom and Dad for the summer, but never says a word.(I can kind of sense it)...LOL...It is not that he has a lot of rules around here, but when you have lived on your own and then come home and live with your parents, you sometimes can't come and go as you please etc....He is a good kid and I'm going to miss having him and his smile around here...Sometimes he keeps me going....So I've already told him I'm dreading when he leaves and he pretty much knows that the tears will be flowing...He doesn't like seeing his Mom do that...He understands that it is because I love him so.....

Little Buddy....How are you doing??? Haven't heard from you in a long time...Are you weeding the garden??? Hope things are well with you and Kristie....Miss you...HUGSSS

Good Morning all from F-Town...It is again another bright sun shiny day...It got in the 90's yesterday...Was a little warm, not much breeze...Still no rain, but I will be sure to tell you when it does...:0)

Still trying to get caught up around here...Things just keep pilng up on me...Need to run a bunch of errands and get that out of the way today...Paying bills, going to Wal Mart just seems to be a waste of my time and a lot of money...Geeez...I wish I had something fun to look forward to today...Cleaning bathrooms isn't going to add any excitment either...Nope, there is not going to be any fun today for me, just a bunch of work that I don't really enjoy to much...Oh well, I will get it out of the way and maybe tomorrow will be a brighter day for me....I love to think positive...;0)

Morning All, It's another nice day, 55, clear, and no wind... Spent the last 2 days at the lake, had a good time, boating, tubing, and jet skiing... Time to head back to work tonite...

Cindy G, I'll be thinking of you today as we finish cleaning up after camping and doing the laundry... Abby left for Omaha Monday, use this week to get ready for classes on Monday... Morgan is a senior this year, hope she has a fun year. She doesn't have any fall sports but will be taking a couple college classes to have then out of the way...

Morning All...

At P-Town, Judd Ranch is back into fall calving season, and the cows having their babies is gradually picking up speed. WE had a total of 10 babies yesterday. So I'm back on my night watch. Last night I had a cow that was calving with feet coming the wrong way...backwards, in the cow group, so I had to get Dave and Brent up to help get her out of the pasture, that was at 2:30am. The three of us used 4 wheelers. Got her in and we pulled it, now momma and baby are doing fine. Today the guys are working up north, the 180 fall bulls are finishing up on gain test....this is the time when we take all the "important" measures on the boys. They will be turned back out on grass later today. I have been writing a 12 day diary of the happenings at Judd
Ranch for a cattle magazine.....kind of like this, boring you all with what is going on here.

Good Friday Morning to you all....Finally Friday is here for all of you...Start making some plans for the weekend...:0)

The weather has been about the same here the last few days...I haven't even listened to the forecast the last day or two so don't know what it is suppose to do for sure...The last I heard there was a slight chance of isolated showers Saturday...Isolated showers means that right here in this area WILL NOT get any rain...The temps have been in the 90's so things are continuing to dry up....

I have been trying to help Tyler get some things lined up for his return back to Lincoln for college...I'm mainly getting food around for him...(I have to make sure my baby eats) LOL....You would think I would get used to him leaving me every year, but it just seems like it gets a little harder when he gets ready to head back...Maybe it is because I know I only have probably one more (maybe 2 if I can talk him into it)summer to have him in my home...Hard to believe that my kids are just about all grown up...And won't need me anymore...:0(
Oh I will survive, I always seem to get through it...But about Sunday afternoon, the tears will be streaming down my face...Can't help it...Life does go on though....

Nothing exciting goin on here in F-Town, or if it is I missed it...I'm sure somehow, someway, I would of heard the way rumors fly around here....Somethings never change around here and that is one of them...LOL...I just let it in one ear and out the other until I hear it from the source...

Well I best get busy before Big Jer cracks the whip on me...LOL...He has already gone north a long time ago...

Well happy Saturday to you all....We have got overcast skies this morning...A pleasant surprise through the night was .40 of rain here...Don't know the rain report in Daykin as of yet...They are saying 80% chance today and 30% chance tonight....We can still use a bunch..... .40 is very welcoming here and I don't want to sound greedy because every drop helps, but the .40 I know just soaked up to nothing.....Keep your fingers crossed....

I just went out to check on a cow that has been calving...low and be hold...my youngest son Brent, is teaching Lily to drive the Kaw mule in the pasture! Oh, I just had a memory that popped into my head....do any of you reading this remember when I took my Dad, Roger's, red Ford truck out on a gravel road and I was learning to drive a clutch....on the tree? OMG!!! I remember Mary and Julie...but I don't recall who else was with us....Cindy GR...were you there too?

Good Morning classmates....Well we got a whopping .65 here in F-town through the night and this morning...I will have to give an update on the Daykin area when Big Jer reports in....It was nice to see some drops as everything around here looks so dry and dirty...Speaking of dirty, WHEW, my house could use a once over....

Today my baby is leaving me to head back up to Lincoln...He has a bunch of things to get done and organized before his offical day of college starts up again...I'm going to miss having him (and his friends) around here...He is ready to get on with things, so I'm glad of that...Would be worse if he didn't want to go back...I will miss him, but life goes on......

Cindy I do recall the night you are talking about with the car...my dad had just told me, now don't be driving around with a bunch of people in the car....well that is exactly what I did! The car was loaded with kids.....when we saw him I went around the corner and everyone jumped out! Crazy good memories!

Good Morning from F-Town Nebraska....I woke up to a cloudy morning today...Which is good because it makes it feel more like a Monday this way....Yesterday morning we had .65 in the gauge here and Daykin was very spotted...The most we proabably got on our fields was .30...You see the rain is spotted because it is trying to miss our fields...Doing a pretty good job of it too...This morning we had .15 in the gauge here...Haven't heard if there is any on the fields yet...Temps I believe are suppose to be in the lower 80's...Jerry, says that we live in a dry hole...I'm beginning to think he is right...(don't tell him I said he was right)....I'm sure it will let loose and rain a bunch, probably about the time we are ready to plant wheat...Then I can complain some more...I like this farming....Keeps me in the perfect mood at all times...:0)

Hey Cindy G, been awhile. It is a lovely day here in Lincoln. Cloudy and cool, gentle breeze, one of those days you would just like to crawlin bed and open the window and let all that fresh air in. Been sticking my head out every little bit just to take it in. Been busy at work, sickly, but was able to indure work. In bed all weekend. Think I might have finally squashed the bug. Fingers crossed.

Cindy P love the pics, bring back some good memories. Miss driving cattle, the baby calves, the trail riding, all tht stuff. It's been while, hope Lily's arm healed up ok.

Jim K sounds like you have had a fun summer. That's how its suppose to be.

Well hope everyone is doing fine, I know many of you will be dealing wtih school schedules, football practice, volleyball etc... good luck with all that.
