Good Morning everyone....It is a gorgeous day in F-Town this morning...A little foggy when I first got up but it is starting to break up now...These gorgeous days have been just great, but I don't like what will be peeking around the corner....WINTER....Yikes......

How about them HUSKERS?????? For those of you that didn't get to watch it the score was NE. 49 Florida Atlantic 3....It was a fun game to watch, and it looks like we could come back....There is work to be done yet, and time will tell...Seeing the sea of red in the stands was amazing...Lots of people and they were all pumped up...

Well my baby girl is coming to see us today...She was suppose to come Friday night but some things came up...She went to the game with her Brother yesterday and spent the night with him and then will come here later today....It will be nice to see her....I'm looking forward to it....

Jerry seems to think that possibly the end of next week he will have some beans that will be ready to go...UGH...I have the feeling this is going to be a long fall harvest....We need to get the beans out so we can plant some winter wheat...Then finish the harvesting the corn and milo....The days are getting shorter and cooler which makes short days of harvest and longer weeks..As you can tell Fall harvest is not one of my favorites...It seems like it takes us forever to get anything done....I like to get in there and get the job done and over, just like that...Is that lack of patience???? I must work on that...

Well it has been a great Labor Day weekend thus far....I haven't done anything exciting, but my time will come someday...(I hope)

Happy Labor Day to all.....It is overcast skies here is Fairbury...Yesterday, was once again a sun shiny and beautiful day....

My daughter came here yesterday...It was nice seeing her again...She will be leaving today already...Got to get back to the real world of work tomorrow...:( Wish she could stay longer, but I will take what I can get...I think she will be back sooner next time...I know we have a wedding in a couple weeks...So I have something to look forward to....

Sweet Pea....I'm also glad you didn't hit a cow....WHEW...Dave definately wouldn't of liked that so well...LOL...We have had a few foggy mornings here too...Today just overcast...I want the sun!!!! It sure makes a person feel more lively when the sun is or so bright....Did you get to go out for dinner the other night???? I sure hope you did...Wishing you and your family a wonderful day!!!! Good Morning to all of you, Its 57 out and still dark... Guess I went to bed to early last nite... Hope you had a fun weekend... Not much happened here, got home yesterday at 9 am, cleaned up around where the pool used to be... Thinking about adding onto the patio, put a roof over it with water and electricity, outdoor kitchen they call it... Still trying to put ideas together on how to do it... Ty went dove hunting the last two days, they got around 40 birds, so they were busy cleaning birds...

Good Morning....Over cast skies this morning...Temps to get in the lower 80's....Possible chance of rain tonight and tomorrow...Sounds like a great day!!!!

Well we are getting started on some field work today...Getting the ground prepared to plant wome winter wheat....The soy beans are ripening fast, so that will be here before we know it too....Such a busy time of the year...Keeps us out of trouble...LOL...I think we may be to old to be in trouble, but it sure sounded good, didn't it??????

KEILWITZ...I just wanted to yell your name...Haven't done that in awhile...Nice to see you on here...Oh my, I love the sound of your ideas on the patio...That would be awesome to have...I could use a good handyman here at this house...Big Jer, is not a good handyman....I get really nervous when I see him with a tool in his hand at home...Just always wondering what he is going to screw up...LOL...Sounds like Ty had some luck getting him some doves...My brother used to dove hunt a lot....We had a guy call for permission the other night to hunt on our ground...The hunting season has officially begun...Hope you have a great day.....Take Care

Good Morning Classmates....

It is a cloudy morning here the Morn....Talking of some rain coming...That is a good thing, but these cloudy mornings make it a bit hard to get going on much needed projects....

We have started on the field work here...Some rain would be nice help the wheat come up, when we get it planted....The soy beans are ripening fast, so time will tell when we will get started on them...It is a very busy time for us, again...Always something going on, but that is good....Keeps us on our toes and out of trouble...Mainly on our toes....At our age it is hard to get into trouble...LOL

Well it looks very dead on this sight...Been pretty much talking to myself again...What is up with that???? I guess I will have to stay off of here for awhile...It seems when I'm away things seem to perk up a bit here...

Cindy..I will try to do better about getting on here!

It is extremely wet here! I think our cows need to grow web feet....the guys can not get a break in the weather...we have a couple more days of chopping...but it is just too wet to be in the field! We have been getting rain almost everyday...and they have rain in the forcast or chances everyday for a week!!!! YIKES!! Maybe we need to just take a vacation and come to the Nebraska game!!!

About the only thing going on here is school activities. Honey is doing well so far in the year regarding football, he has made varsity corner back and all special teams.. He must have gotten the running speed from me.. What you think? Seems however he forgot why he is in school already.. But that is a whole new chapter.. LOL

What you been up too? How is the garden? Are you going to the Nebr. game Sat?

Wheel's Messing....I seem to have forgotten about your speed...well where else would he have gotten it from???

Please let us know how his games are coming out...

Yes going to the game Saturday....went last Saturday night...what a night for football!! Picture perfect night. Terry this years team has a ways to go...but played very well.....in two or three years look out! Three true freshmen played.....Cody Glenn at QB is only 17 and has the look of Tommy Frazier only much much faster. Zack Lee the starter QB is very good...but I hate to see such a good young player as Glenn have to set the bench. And we have defensive back for once that have wheels and one of them is a freshmen. They will make mistakes but with time they will be championship contenders. BO has a great group of players...they just need some TLC.

Garden is doing well....Mater this year where not good for us...but everything else is doing very well.

Wish that you could make it....I'm sure Sarge will have a milk or two for you!!

Sweetie....have the gate open to F-town tomorrow. We'll be there!!

Morning All, Just got home, wish things would have worked out to make it F-town Friday nite... O'Well it's Morgan's senior year and don't want her to miss homecoming, we should get out of here by midnite, I'll try not to be a grumpy bear Saturday morning... Don't know if we'll stay after the game, going to Omaha to see Abby (stay the nite) and then coming back (to Lincoln) Sunday for NU volleyball game and then heading home after that...

Jim Keilwitz Cindy P, I don't know if you remember him, but I worked with Dan Robinson the last two times... Your uncle Roy and Dan have been working together to put up hay for Dan, you have to understand very small operation, maybe 50 round bales and very old equipment...

Well the weather continues to be very enjoyable....If a person only had time to enjoy it....LOL....Sounds like there is some chances of rain here for tonight and tomorrow...I hope it holds off for all you football goers...Would hate to see you melt, as I know you are all made of sugar....

I see the forum was used again since I wasn't there yesterday...HMMMMM...Makes me wonder....

Things have been kind of crazy around here and it looks as though it could get crazier....WHEW...

Classmates,

In the hectic lives we live today it's easy to forget what happened in the past as we get caught up in current events. I do however feel that there is one day that no one should forget and that day was 09-11-01.

Many people lost their lives needlessly. Many firefighters and police officers lost their lives trying to save others. And since that time, many soldiers lost their lives protecting OUR freedom.

I encourage you to take a moment today and thank the firefighters, police officers and soldiers who make our wonderful country a great place to live.

Please never forget those who have the ultimate sacrifice so you can be free.
