Hello all....

Still the same thing going for us....Harvest Harvest Harvest....We still have been having the most amazing weather...It was about 69 at 4 o'clock today...I think it is suppose to get warmer tomorrow....

The days are getting shorter and we have a lot of work to do yet...Jerry thinks we need 36 hour days...I say maybe cut back so we don't have so much to do...LOL..I think my idea is better don't you???  Don't think it would help pay the bills though....LOL

Sargey...Nice to hear from you..It has been awhile...I'm pretty excited about the game Saturday as well...Are you going to the game or watching it on T.V.????  Glad to hear you have been busy...Keeps you out of trouble....Don't be so shy next time....Come visit us more often...We love hearing from you...:0)

Sweet Pea...I'm glad we didn't get the rain...Whew...Lucked out on that one....Yes, I do get a boost of energy when the kids are here...Even though I don't get to spend very much one on one time with them, it is still great to have them around...And I love to cook for them....Nothing better than a Moms cooking right??  Glad to hear the sale went really well for you...Such perfect weather too....Someday when things settle down here and there maybe we can meet up....I would love that....:0)  Take Care and as always hello to everyone at Judd Ranch....Okay, and Give Big Dave a bear hug...LOL

Need to get some dinner figured out for Big Jer....He is usually a tired and hungry boy when he gets home....His schedule when he gets home is go through the mail....Take a shower....Eat....Watch the news and weather while eating....Goes to bed...Up at 5....Out of here by 630 or so...

Have a great evening....

Hello all...

You know how I have said my life has been crazy...It has even gotten crazier....

Early Saturday morning my brother went to the Hebron hospital...He had had a slight heart attack....They took him the the Nebraska Heart Institute in Lincoln....They ran a bunch of tests and yesterday he had open heart surgery...He had a defective valve (probably has had this since birth)so yesterday they put him in a new valve...He is doing well other than being really sore...I guess that has to go with this surgery...Pretty scarey, but the good Lord gave him a second chance in life...I thank God that he did....

Well the harvest has been put on hold for a about a week now...We had 2 fields of beans that were not quite ripe yet....So Big Jer did some field work while he has been waiting....Looks like he will be back in the combine tomorrow or Thursday...Then the harvest will be done....But, of course all the service work and cleaning of all the machinery, trucks etc will have to be done....And of course I have been making a honey-do list for him....Is that bad???  LOL...All I really want is a pickup so I can do my fall cleanup and haul everything away....

Hope you are all doing well....

It has been kind of quiet on here again...You guys better start talking cuz if Bill comes back on he might not be happy...LOL

Wishing you all a great rest of the week...

Hello all, glad to see your still giving the morning news Cindy G. Glad to hear your brother is on his road to recovery. Haven't been on my computer at home for some time. Hoping to either upgrade or get a new one after the first of the year so I can keep up better. I am enjoying the cool nights, but not the frost on my car. Thankfully it was only on the rear window.  I'm on the road already at 6:45am and not looking forward to going out earlier to scrape, but I know it won't be much longer. Texas & Ne game sucked!!! Hopefully they will do better and beat the pants of OK.

Hope everyone is doing well.

Go Huskers!!! Great game! Mazoo beat the Sooners, what will happen next week? NE bring it on!!!

Spent Fri and Sat with my mom and sister. Mom  came to Lincoln Fri morn, we went to a movie and out to eat and spent all Sat together. Fun time.  Watching scary movies!!! Love them.

What's up?  You all say you are on here, and us bad guys aren't??????

Cindy Georgi (Rosener)

Hello classmates...

Our harvest is officially over..YIPPPPEEEEE....We had the best weather for the harvest that I can ever remember...It was totally perfect....So now it is on to servicing the machinery, getting things washed up, buildings swept out, everything all put away...Don't sound like much, but is pretty time consuming....

I have been making trips to Lincoln all week with my parents....My brother had a couple set backs...His heart has went into A Fib (out of rhythm and beating as high as 158 beats per minute) twice now...The gave him an electrical shock to get it back to normal...This is not uncommon for open heart patients..It worked for about 2 days....They put him in swing bed (no the bed does not swing) in Beatrice for a few days and that is when his heart went out of rhythm again..So this morning they hauled him back to Lincoln to zap him again...It has already been done and they are watching him for awhile and then sending him home if all is okay...This darn insurance stuff is ridiculous...They act like they have to get you out of the hospital as soon as possible...it is getting crazy...But he looks good and will feel better now too...I told him it is kind of like over hauling a car...They got the major work done, now they have to fine tune him....

Michale...Nice seeing you on here....Missed you...Sounds like you had a great time with your Mom and Sister....Tell your Mom hello for me when you see her again...I used to love coming to your house in Jansen and talking with your Mom...And she loved fixing my curly hair...LOL...Winderful memories...:0)  Hope all is well with you girlfriend...Miss you...We need to meet up sometime...Hugs

Well need to finish the laundry, I will try to get on more when we get all these jobs done....I think I have my work cut out for me....

Hope you all are doing welll..Still would love to hear from you....Take Care

Morning All, Hope everyone is well... I see fall is in the air they say it might get down to 13 degrees here in a couple of days, that should give people something to talk about....

Michale, Good to see you on, I agree Huskers looked alot better this week.. Next game, Wow I don't know how to predict it.. I know how I would like to see it turn out..

Cindy G, I hope your brother is on the road to recovery and I'm glad your done with harvest... So, I guess now all you have to do is get ready to spend the winter in Hawaii, what a life... Not much going on here but work, I can not believe how busy we are... I guess Warren Buffet buying us might be a good thing, he wants to make sure coal is delivered to his power plants... Looking foreward to Thanksgiving, have the week off and the girls will be home, I know they are ready for a break...

Well Gang catch you next time, need to head out the door for work... Have a great week!!!

10/25/10 08:14 PM #6799

Cindy Pfingsten (Judd)

WOW!!  Great to read all of the post Cindy, Jim and Michale!!  I have not been on for a few days...so fun to catch up!  Always good to read what is on everyones mind!

Cindy, So glad to hear Mike is on the mend!! That A Fib stuff is not good!!  Hope they get it all under control soon!  Sounds like the insurance is kicking him out the door before he is ready, crazy, isn't it?  You are done with harvest??  Wow!!  Wish we could say that!  We have some late planted beans to go yet.....so for now we are moving Fall cows around for Fall breeding....and we might have to make some trips to do some delivering cattle.  These truckers are not very dependable...so best to just do it ourselves.....LIKE EVEYTHING!  We still have several head to get out of here, if we wait, it might be Christmas!!

We celebrated my Moms birthday over the weekend down here at Pomona Lake....rented a little cabin.  Had the whole family down....and had a great time!!  I wish we could get together more often!!  While we were at the lake, we ran into some KU people that were camping over the weekend...of course they noticed my nieces Nebraska T-Shirts, so they were giving us the up dates on the Nebraska game.

Michale Guilford (Junker)

HI all!!  Burrr another cold windy day. Had to pull the slacks out for work. Hate that. Thank goodness Fri is jean day.

Cindy so glad you and your family got together. Sounds like so much fun. You need to do that more often.

Cindy hope your brother takes it easy and takes the time to recover. Hospitals do seem to send patients home before needed which is a crock espeically when I know how much insurance costs. Hospitals are covered well worth their while.  It's not like he had a child.

Cindy and Randy are headed for a cruise, I believe next weekend. Wow I how would love to go on one again. They are going to have the time of their life!

John can't remember where he hid one of his GPS's! LOL Could old age be setting in????

Not much news, excited to see how we play this weekend!

Ya all take care!!!

Cindy Georgi (Rosener)

Happy Halloween,classmates....

It has been awhile for me, but here I am once again....We have been busy with fall servicing, clean up etc....

My brother had to once again go to Lincoln last Wednesday and get his heart shocked back into rhythm....As of today his heart is still ticking just right...I will keep my fingers crossed and hopefully he won' t have to go through that anymore....He just needs to relax and rest right now...It does work him up when he goes out of rhythm as his heart rate gets up to about 158 beats a minute...He said he feels like he is working overtime when this happens...

Well, Halloween is here again...Just got to see the great nieces and nephews all dressed up...We always enjoy that so much....Yes, we got promoted to being GREAT uncle and aunt, when the nieces and nephews started having kids...There is 7 of them and 1 nephew hasn't had any kids yet....What a nice promotion....:0)

I will be sitting in my weeping willow tonight to watch for any toilet papering going on....The gun is loaded....LOL...I just hope I do not have to wake up to the mess I did 2 years ago....Pretty much know who took part in it...But, someone lost a really nice pocket knife and it is in my posession now...I would love to give it to them if they want to come and get it...

The weather continues to be pretty good...We did have a couple days where the wind blew really hard....Today was a bit chilly, but it is fall folks....

Well I had best get in my tree...LOL...Hope all is well with you all....

Happy Halloween!!!!!  BOO!!!!

Happy Halloween all. Loving the scary movies!!!!

Hey Gang, Whats going on... Haven't been on for awhile, computer crashed, got it back Monday and it crashed again 2 hours later, so back to the shop.. It wasn't a virus it was the other one where they want your credit card numbers, trying to say it was Norton antivirus security breach and every time you click on something it sends you deeper into a mess... Wow, another lesson learned....

So??? Whats everyone up to??? Me? It's just been the fall getting ready for winter thing.. Finally all done with the mowing. Yipee!!! I'm sure glad we are out of the mowing business and I can say it is offically over with... Laurie left today for a meeting on Omaha, so she can go pick on the girls for a couple of days and Ty and I are home together...  Took a couple of days off so someone is home for him...

Cindy G, Glad to here your brother is doing well and that harvest is done... Did anyone get your trees with TP??? Maybe next year I can come down and help you out... Get them TP before someone else does??? You guys take care!!!

Cindy Georgi (Rosener)

Good evening all...Just thought I would switch things up a bit and write a bit tonight....So how are you all???

Things continue to be very busy here...Trying to use these beautiful days to get things done before the dreaded winter hits us....Big Jer worked me hard the other day...We washed the tractor, combine, cleaned the insides out, swept out our big shed....Whew...Even though I enjoy working with my family, I was dead tired that night....Actually Big Jer was ready to quit after the cleaning of the equipment, but the chief (that is me) said lets get the shed swept out....It was more work then I was planning on...LOL..We got it done though and one less thing left to do on the list...Good feeling...

We made it through Halloween with not toilet paper....Glad of that....We only had 5 trick or treaters...They were our nephews and niece...Love to see them all dressed up....So Cute!!!  They do a thing on the square now...It is called trunk or treat...The business people decorate their trunks, trucks etc.. and hand out treats to the kids...They block off the streets and do a costume judging....It is a neat thing and I heard they gave out candy to over 600 this year...

Jim nice hearing from you...glad you got all the mowing behind you...Sounds like you and Ty will be enjoying each others company...Always fun to bond with the kids....Take Care...

So is anybody coming to F-Town for the upcoming holidays???  It is always such a busy time of the year....We always have the kids home and their friends pop in, family arrives and all the cooking begins....Keeps me on the run...Wish I had more time to just sit and enjoy everybody...

Wishing you all a great weekend....Enjoy the fall days!!!

Take Care

Cindy Georgi (Rosener)

Hello all..

The weather has still been great...it sounds as though we are in for a change though....Temperatures are to get colder and talk of 1-2 inches of snow out west...YIKES...I'm not quite ready for that....

I finally got all the fall yardwork finished...It seemed like it took a long time to get done this year...of course I had to wait for Big Jer to be done with harvest so I could use a pickup....Darn him...Maybe next year I will have him wait on me instead...LOL..I already know for a fact that this will not be happening...LOL

Now, I need to start doing some cleaning in this house...UGH...Dust Bunnies everywhere...I really need to do the deep cleaning, but I may wait will after the Holidays and then dig in...I will just do the basics over and over and over till then...

How about them Huskers last weekend...Wow...A bit scarey....I didn't even get to see the last play as Big Jer and Tyler were up in front of the T.V. yelling...Got pretty intense here at the Rosener home....Hopefully this weeks game will not be a nail biter..As there aren't anymore nails to bite on my hands....;0/

Hope you are all getting your plans made for the upcoming holidays....Always nice to be with family and friends this time of the year....

Have a great rest of the week....Take Care friends!!!!

I heard some of you got snow up north, we only got a cold rain!!  A little while ago the sun peaked out, hopefully it warms things up again.  This Fall has been one of the best,  but at this point I'm not ready to see the mild temperatures leave....just yet!

At this point I might be in F-Town on Friday night, after Thanksgiving....if anyone else is in town or would like to get together, let me know.

I hope my two favorite teams win today!  Go Huskers and Wildcats!

Have a great weekend everyone!

Hello classmates....

Where the heck are all of you???

Cindy, yes we did have some snow yesterday...I will have to say they were Big Beautiful Flakes...But they melted pretty much as soon as they hit the ground so it didn't bother me to much...I'm not ready for bad winter weather yeat either...We still have things to finish up here....I swear it never gets done, as you well know....I will have to see about the Friday you will be here, but I'm thinking I will have a house full...;0/  I would love to see you again...It has been a long long time....I'm missing you....

Well I have started to make out some Christmas lists...I may even make a trip to Lincoln this week...Just want to get a start on all the hustle and bustle....

I'm getting excited to watch them Huskers tonight....I will be doing some yelling so if you hear me, don't worry I'm still okay....Hope I'm yelling good things..:0)

Nippler, Little Buddy, Roe, Sargey,Nay, and all you classmates.....WE are waiting for you to talk with all of us....Remember, life is too short not to stay connected with your classmates....These are the people that you spents countless hours with for many years of your life....They are a part of your life....Please give out a shout to all of us....

The dishes are calling my name so I best get the kitchen cleaned and the laundy finished too....

Have a great weekend....

GO BIG RED!!!!!

11/15/10 02:52 PM #6810

Cindy Pfingsten (Judd)

Greetings!

Bill, nice surprise to hear from you!  Good to hear Barb is recovering from her surgery......I bet you make one heck of a nurses aid!  You are right...not many bulls going into Nevada....you seem to have grass shorage there in the desert!!  : )  We have sold a few bulls into the Utah area, some near Park City and some near Delta.  Years ago Dave took cattle to Reno to show...but like I said, that was many moons ago!

Cindy, are you in Lincoln doing some Christmas shopping today?  Gosh, I  need to quit putting it off and get started!!  Any ideas for you men................besides tools?

The two daughter-in-laws have been working on bulls that will be going to Denver.  Amazing how time flies...we will be going to Denver in less than two months!

11/16/10 12:27 PM #6811

Jim Keilwitz

Morning Boys & Girls, Good to see a few people joining in... Getting closer to winter, had some snow last week, just a couple of inches... It's gone but we are suppose to get some tonite... If anybody is short I'll try and send it your way.... I know both Cindy's LOVE it so much....

Ty started wrestling practice last night, after a weekend of deer hunting (didn't get one) and 2 1/2 hours of practice he was wore out, supper, shower, and bed, sure makes it quiet around the house... So that left Laurie and I to discuss Christmas shopping, Yipee!! Of course that leaves the old question, what to get the parents? Both sides are cleaning out stuff and really don't want to replace it with more junk, I'm sure we will come up with something....

Bill, been out pheasant hunting a few times, Ty goes deer hunting, I don't.... Getting harder to find places, everbody is charging to hunt now and I can't afford to buy any ground and what ground is bringing is crazy... My brother said some land by Deshler or Chester sold for $5500 per acre, over $900,000 for just a quarter, with a 20 year old pivot and no power unit for the well... I know I'll never be able to buy any land...

Well gang, take care!!!!

11/16/10 07:39 PM #6812

Michale Guilford (Junker)

HI guys!!

Love reading your stories!  Wish I had some to tell. My life is pretty boring. LOL. I'm planning a trip to F-Town Dec 14 weather premitting. Need to get some new/newer tires first. I hate shopping for tires!!! That is why I procrastinate.

Bill I didn't know Barb had surgery, but glad all went well and she is on her way to a speedy recovery.

Jim isn't it crazy what people will charge when they know they have something someone else needs. You would think they would be happy just to keep the deer population down. You may just have to sneek down by a river somewhere and take your chances.

Cindy J your life goes goes goes. I hope you and Dave made some special plans for your anniversary. if not that day hopefully in the near future where it is sunny and warm.

Cindy R no tricks this year, kinda takes the fun out of Halloween doesn't it. I'm sure you never tee peed any thing before??????

Been busy at work, tired at nights especially getting dark by 5. Never used to go to bed till about midnight and now I can hardly stay up till 10. Could it be old age?

Everyone take care. Keep the stories coming. Love reading them.

Love ya guys!!!

11/17/10 03:21 PM #6813

Cindy Georgi (Rosener)

Good day classmates....

WOW it was so exciting to see that we had some visitors on the wesite...I love this!!!!  If we could just talk a few more to share their stories with us....

Tomorrow  I start the Christmas shopping....Making a trip to Lincoln....It will be fun, expensive and tiring...LOL..and just the start...:0/  Can't get it all done in one day..By the time you travel to different stores you've used up a lot of the time...Don't want to drive home in the dark with all the deer roaming around...

Jim...Nice hearing from you...You should of been in my back yard this morning we had 3 deer...There are deer around my house all the time....I totally understand the whole issue on getting the parents gifts...They have everything and if there is something they want they go buy it...LOL...There was some land that sold up by Daykin for $5650.00 for 240 acres...it is getting crazy...Have fun with your Christmas shopping this year...Are you coming back here for any of the holidays???  Take Care

Michale...Nice to see you on here...I understand the being tired when it is dark at 5....It has totally screwed up my sleeping habits that is for sure....Are you going to your Moms for Thanksgiving???  Take care girlfriend...hugs

Sweet Pea...Tomorrow is the beginning of a lot of shopping..LOL Not to many ideas for the guys...LOL..Tyler is going to get some tools though...And some work boots..That is what I know for now...I wonder what Nippler and Little Buddy have figured out for their wives this year...Hopefully they are going to get another vacuum...LOL...Big Jer would know better...:0)  Hope all is well at Judd Ranch....Take Care...Hugsss

Get those Christmas lists made out....It is time to get in the spirit...:0)

11/18/10 07:12 PM #6814

Cindy Pfingsten (Judd)

Evening Classmates,

I'm very proud of myself......made a huge dent in the Christmas shopping yesterday!  It is so much fun to shop for the Grandkids.....but the adults, not so much!  Now for the decorating, wrapping and cooking, always so much to do in a short period of time.  I also have been watching the grandkids so Ginger can focus on the bulls for Denver.  Never a dull moment...but I like it that way!

Cindy, I hope you had some success today.  I went to Coscos, wow that was a good place to go!  Got lots of shopping done there!  Tyler's Christmas list looks a whole lot like my crew here....boots, new work coat....tools...boring stuff, but it is stuff they need!

Michale, Are you going to your Mom's for Thanksgving?   Do Neal and Kim come back too?  I forget that Kim is married to Neal Bretting...he is Roger's cousin...didn't know if you knew that or not.  I know...one way or another, I am related to most of the town!!  LOL  Good Luck with the new tires....I agree not much fun to shop for!  Around here, our rock chews up tires in no time!  Seems we are replacing tires on this and that ALL the time!  We don't have the sand or gravel like you do back home, just white rock that turns into a white powder after a while.  About being boring....Most the time my life is pretty boring too, life just gets us in a rut.....BUT DON'T EVER THINK WE DO NOT WANT TO HEAR FROM YOU!  So glad you posted!  We like to hear from everyone!  Cindy is right.....this is like home....it is good to call home and check in!  We all like to hear from a friendly voice from the past.

Jim, I think Cindy and I both agree..........YOU CAN KEEP THE WHITE STUFF ALL WINTER...NO NEED TO FEEL LIKE YOU NEED TO SHARE!   I'm sure your family is looking forward to having the girls home for the holiday.    Now that I said you can keep the white stuff......I mean after the hoilday, of course!  Safe travels to them!

I'm counting all my many blessings and so grateful to have many of you in my life, when I was younger, and yet today.   HAPPY THANKSGIVING!

Well, the Nebraska game just wasn't quite what I was expecting last weekend, but that is in the past and we have a new game on Friday.....GO BIG RED!!!!!

Going to my parents for Thanksgiving....She always invites her brothers and sisters, plus their kids....Of course not everybody comes, but a majority of them do...It is always good to get together with them...Some of them I get to see this one time a year....Trying to figure out what sides I should make to take over...My Mom makes all the homemade pies, Turkey, dressing, mashed potatoes and gravy, and homemade hot rolls....So the rest is for us to do....Any ideas for me????  It would be great to hear what everybodies plans are for Thanksgiving....:0)

I don't have a lot of time today as I'm trying to get caught up on the cleaning, bedding, laundry etc....I will try to post more in a day or two.....

Have a great day!!!!
