Clint thanks for doing this. Sarge says his class has a blast BSing with everyone.

We need to schedule a "chat night" one of these evenings and see how many people we can get on here. When it comes to BS'ing...I hear that Tim, George, and Barney have lots of practice...but it's likely that the women will be the victors over us guys....

Strange thing....I was just thinking about Steve Holloway the other day. It was like when we graduated he dropped off the face of the earth. Haven't checked out the video yet, but I will.

WOW Steve-that was cool!

OK-now I am really down because of all the days of this summer, the reunion weekend was the ONLY one that we could squeeze in a family vacation. I am just sick that I won't be able to be there, our tickets are booked and set.

Thank goodness for this website - it still gives everyone a chance to catch up on us all!! Hope we can get all of the email addresses, so everyone will participate! I submitted a few more that I knew & am trying to acquire more.

Hi to everyone - CANNOT believe that it's been 30 years! I never count back unless I absolutely have to. :)

Does anyone remember Craig Nilsen? He was listed on our graduation announcement..but I can't find any information on him and don't recall anyone by that name. Also, was Beverly Vieth in our class...I remember her from Junior High but she might have been a year different? Just trying to clean up the accuracy of the class list.

hey, does anyone remember Jim Brenen (not sure about the spelling)? I'm sure he was here for our soph. year.

Name sounds familiar, but I can't put a face to it. Do you want me to add them to the guest list?

01/26/09 11:57 AM #11

Tom Adams

Clint, I would add him. I think after he left Fby., they moved up towards the Ponca,NE area.

I added Jim Brennen

Same $h@#$ different decade... Tim Hill you are a classic example of the adage that some things never change!! Great picture of you on your profile. Can't believe you did not post one of Laurie equally flattering. I'll check back later.

Some how it only recently hit me that it is now 2009 and hence thirty years since I have had a chance to do something with my life. Again, some things never change. I'm older, but not grown-up. I ride my bike (bicycle, Clint, not Harley) with the same gusto as my first one Mike Cogle's dad sold me from the Coast-to Coast store. My humor is still off beat and irreverent. My hair, while sometimes long, is usually shorter than 1979 but does still manage to cover a majority of my forehead. I assume if you saw me on "America's Most Wanted" you would still recognize me.

So, I'll not lie and plead any fame or success other than being exuberantly happy as who I am and where I am. Guess there are worse definitions of success, are there not?

Ciao for now

Morning classmates, its a sunny day in Fairbury, getting ready to open Rowdy's.

Gary good to hear from you, looks like your keeping fit, guess young kids will do that for you.

Hope everyone will post a little every once in a while.

Clint can you add spell check, my typing stinks.

Gary Goebel

Rod, you call me fit?...
Back surgery,
Knee surgery,
Separated shoulder,
All within the last 5 years.
I am old and falling apart! But you are right, having kids is for young people. So now I fight against the clock and struggle to keep up with the young ones out of pure survival mode.

I wonder does anyone still fit into their high school clothes? Last time I checked (some year around Halloween time) my letter jacket had shrunk just hanging in the closet.

I am having way too much fun with this web site.

Rod, I can't add spell check to the profile area, but I do go in and correct any obvious spelling errors that I see.

I am amazed at how some of you have aged over the years. Thank goodness I've avoided aging at all!

NOTE: I trust my facetiousness is patently evident and not mistaken for conceit?

02/09/09 08:13 PM #19

Tammy Hinks (Swett)

Wow Gary you sound like a brand new man!

And Rod you keep Clint busy...keeps him out of my hair...lol

02/09/09 08:17 PM #20

Tammy Hinks (Swett)

And to answer your question Gary...I do have some clothes from high school..I thought they were so cool that they have been hanging in my closet and they never got lost after all the military moves...I forgot about them until you mentioned that...I should go see if they fit...

02/09/09 08:50 PM #21

Clint Swett

I'll tell everyone if they actually fit...someone has to be the honest broker here...
