Styx is playing at the Walworth County Fair in Elkhorn WI this summer- my home area. I saw the Styx Rockin' Paradise Tour around 1980. OMG! Our hard rockin' bands playing county fairs and Indian Casinos!? What next? Bingo as an activity at the next reunion?

Thanks Tammy! I cut the entire back out just to make it look like it fit (just kidding, I'd not desecrate a Jeff Jacket like that!)

Hey Gary, Have seen Styx quite a few times in the last few years they have always been a favorite of mine. Dave lifted me up on stage at one concert and Lawrence (he replaced Dennis DeYoung) grabbed me and I got my picture taken with Tommy Shaw, (still have the pic) anyway it was great! Dave and I got quite a kick out of your profile and have to admit we were shocked! Ha! Sounds like you've got great things going good for you. Can't wait to see you at the reunion.

At the risk of sounding like the proverbial old guy... our music stands the test of time. Look at the Geezer Rock tours doing well. Who of today's current crop of musicians will be "happening" 20, 30 years from now? One hit wonders are the norm. (We could go on at length about the business model of modern music) but it is something more. I have numerous high school students who listen to blues, sport Led Zep, Jimi Hendrix and AC/DC black t-shirts. Short answer- this stuff ROX!!!! Edith, the only time I see disco make any form of resurgence, is as a funny theme party or a satirical piece in a movie. No one is doing it for real. Exhibit #1- Boogie Nites

Disclaimer: I do listen to a variety of music and do like some of the new stuff. I just don't think it has the staying power.

My God, Stegeman is still alive. Won't ever answer his phone or return a voicemail.

Wow, I just found this message board! Clint and Tammy great job with this website. It is so fun to read through the posts. I hadn't planned on getting to come to the class reunion, but I may be able to come to some of it as we are having a memorial service in Nebraska for my Dad sometime that week.

Hey everyone, I was in Fairbury last night at Rowdy's having a few brewskys with my cuz and was visiting with Roddy and I mentioned Bev. Vieth when Roddy told me she was in town at her sister's for her nephews wedding so he got her on the phone and she told me where she was and I went and saw her. She looks great hasn't changed in looks at all and we had a really nice visit. It was so good to see her, I hadn't seen her since our senior year. Wow where does the time go?

Tammy, She is still trying but they have a daughter getting married the first of August and since they were just there she would have to come alone. Been talking to her since so I'll keep on her. Tell Clint hello and by the way the web site is great!!!

Tina: Keep working on Bev...maybe she could find another classmate in the area and carpool with.

Gary and Edith: Rod is checking with the DJ to make sure we have the appropriate music for Saturday night.

It's getting closer...can't wait to see everyone...make sure you all get plenty of rest before you come.

Oh My God!!! Yesterday my son told one of his friends that Fred Sr was going to a "Fogies Reunion" in a couple of weeks. I guess I never thought of myself as Fred Sr. Just for the record I do not sit around the houe in my underwear and wife-beater undershirt.

Here are some interesting facts: Since we started the web site back in January, as of today it has been visited 2,485 times. And this only counts the classmates. We have 78 active accounts and 51 inactive. Pretty cool....Diane and I are working on putting our numbers together and will have a total on how many are coming back really soon. Clint and I will be posting the agenda on the web site also in the next day or two. Well folks it's getting closer....can't wait to see everyone!

Need more folks to sign up for some golf. Use the golf survey on this site so we can make some plans, line up golf carts, etc. Only 15 have signed up so far.
Everyone is welcome and it doesn't matter what skill level you are, it will just be fun!

I got a visual on Fred Arnold sitting around in his boxers and wife beater t-shirt. Anyone else?!

A Ken Hill story. Several years ago he was in the office talking to my editor Vicki Check. He told her that he had been going through some of his personal items and found a cache of some of his students best works that he had kept over the years. He then stuck his head in my office and said 'I didn't keep any of your stuff Arnold' Yep, 40 some years old and still getting intimidated by him. Did anyone ever see the movie "Mr. Woodcock?"

At least you guys wear wife beaters and boxers. Back in AZ it was just too hot for such frivolities... how's that for a visual??? Now what I hate is the guy who is shirtless and looks like he is wearing a wool sweater. Any of you watch Packer games? You know what I mean.

I agree with Tim, we need more golfers!! You know what they say " A 12 pack of beer and a golf cart, we're going to have ourselves some fun!"

Roddy, Been in Washington, DC for the past 11 days on vacation. Greg came along with us. Been having a great time, the fireworks were awesome!!!

I need some guarantees from Fred. What kind of write up is this extravaganza going to get in the Journal?

Will the article conclude "And a good time was had by all."?

Can I get my smilin' face on the cover of the Fairbury Rollin' Stone?

I'm too old for guarantees. I think my shelf life has expired.
