After working as an Income Maintenance Case Specialist with Human Services for many years I decided to open my own licensed daycare so I could be at home to raise my children. That decision was a blessing to our family as I was able to connect with our children. I retired as of December 2018 because of health reasons. Our oldest son graduated from the Wyo-Tech College in Laramie, Wyoming with an Associate's Degree in Diesel and Business Administration. He is now employed as the assistant shop manager for Arnold's Implement in Mankato. Our youngest son graduated in 2010 and has worked his way up through the employment market. He just purchased his 2nd house. My husband just retired as co-owner of Industrial Fabrication Services in Lake Crystal. They employ approx. 100 people and make equipment that they ship all over the world. We are actively involved in our church and have participated in the multi church Easter cantata for the past many years. We live right in town in Madelia, but we have a farm outside of town where we raise cattle and poultry. Our oldest son just started a Berkshire hog business out there as well.
Hi Cathy! Glad you joined the group! It would be nice to see you sometime. Ken and I have talked about doing some traveling now that we're both retired. Sorry you missed the reunion.
