Hey Everyone,
Good to talk to you!! I will be 39 in Nov.--so I think I am the oldest!! Not something I am really proud of--but maybe some claim to fame!! LOL!! I don't think I have the oldest or the youngest kids--but I have been married 18 years!!
Paula--I will miss you at the reunion--I was hoping you'd be there!!
Here's some questions to get people talking--What accomplishment are you most proud of since high school?
What decision do you wish you could make again? What was your most embarrasing moment in high school? Who did you secretly admire?
Okay people--start conversating!!

Hello to all! I don't turn 39 until June, ya'll are old...I am mostly proud of becoming a RN in 1995. I also have lived away for about 5 years, Texas. Too hot and flat!!!! Gotta love the hills....Let's see who did I secretly admirer??? It wouldn't be a secret anymore would it??? LOL....

Hey Linda you said that you where your Polar Bear t-shirt proud, under your North Marion sweat shirt?? Did you catch the score of the game Friday night??? lol

Where are the MEN (besides Todd Farrell) in this class???!!!??? I know you're out there because you signed up on the site!!! Say something (nice) to us. How about beer and football; that has to be the beginning of a good conversation:-)
Proud accomplishments...hummm, right now it's going back to school after all these years. I haven't been a "student" since 1998 and it was quite daunting when I did go back because: 1. I put it off for so long and 2. my age. I thought I would be the oldest person there. Turns out I definitely was not. This is my 3rd semester (I have about 4.5 more years if I keep going continuously) and it's very rewarding to hear different points of view from people just completing their undergraduate education to folks who have been teachers, administrators, etc for years. Everyone has something offer.
As for rethinking decisions, I can probably list about 100, all dating from the time I graduated from high school. Of course, if I had not made some of those decisions or taken some risks (both good and bad) I would not be where I am---the philosophical view---no kids, not in WV, etc...the older I get, the more I think we are where we are supposed to be at that given point---I think it's called fate. In retrospect, maybe our bad or "do-over" decisions should be viewed as learning experiences.
Who did I secretly admire.....in the words of MC Hammer, "Can't Touch That!" my cheeks are blushing just thinking out it;-)

Hey Angie.
Good thing it was too hot for my Husky sweatshirt! lol
On a serious note though, one of our fellow classmates' Richard Turner, son was injured--rather seriously--in that game. Hopefully, he makes a full and speedy recovery. And, speaking of Richard, did anyone catch his episode of Extreme Home Makeover?

Hey guys~~
As some of you already know Tina Nichols Midkiff needs you to keep her and her family in your thought and prayers. Her home caught on fire (as of right now they think electrical) this week (09-08-08). Everyone is OK physically, but mentally I am sure going crazy!! Pictures are on this site

and it was in the local news yesterday 08-09-08

Here come the men!!! Is it possible that I am the baby of the class? I can't believe everyone is turning 39.... and did someone dare to mention 40! I am still 37, and will be until January 30th. I always thought Nancy Kaoy was younger than me, but I'm not 100% sure.

How about favorite and/or least favorite teachers?? Anyone care to reminisce about those who shaped our minds over the four years at FSHS? Personally my favorites included Mr. Vingle, Mrs. Martin, Ms. Pinelle, and Mrs. Casto. As for my least favorite...she will remain nameless, but I bet many of my close friends can guess who holds that distinction :-)

I loved Joyce Flint. I have kept in touch with her the last 20 years and she has been teaching my 11 year old piano for 4 years!! I know she looks the same and has the exact same laugh.

I think Nancy is the youngest. I rememeber her being really excited when she got her driver's license. I think that was early in our senior year.
Fave teachers: Mrs Munza and Mrs Jacquez. Hey Bill, your LEAST fave.....that person isn't the one that we ran into at the main office that day is it?? Remember when we (Lisa H, Sonjs G, you and me) were on "official" journalism business and that ummmmmm.....hummmm....anyway....if it's the person I'm thinking about I'm with you!!! He's got major attitude/psych issues. To this day I can't stand him. (Isn't the 1st amendment great!!!)

Hey I see you all have gotten word about the house fire, we did lose everything either to fire or heat. Everyone is ok and my mom actually saved the dogs. We are doing fine, we have wonderful insurance! Thank God! With 4 children still at home we have been shopping to keep the teenagers spirits up. LOL The investagators are now thinking it was electrical from ceiling light in the laundry room not the dryer as had first thought. We are going to be able to gut the entire house and start over. They are saying it will 10 months to a year before we are back in the house. We are currently renting a house closer to the HS and its working out great (we have neighbors). My youngest Grace is loving having classmates next door to ride bikes & play with. The house that burned is in the country on 16 acres, not sure if we are going to be able to convience them to move back to the farm...
Thanks for all your thoughts and prayers.

Hey Gina! Actually he was not the one I was referring too, but he's right up there with my LEAST favorite.

Talk about a favorite school story. Man, that was a DOOZY. You would have thought he would have been a little nicer to me considering what I observed....LMAO. It's amazing the things you see when you are making sub sandwiches for the band at school after hours.

I was actually referring to our fearless journalism leader. She was the teacher I LOVED to torment the most. I miss talking about Big Bird and Snuffy!!!

Hey Tina! We are SO thankful to hear you and your family are doing okay. You are in our thoughts and prayers. Please let us know if there is ANYTHING we can do to help out. I would love to help...just don't know for sure what you need.
