Go Hogs, Kyle. Check out #59 Rhett Richardson. You will have to look closely because he is the deep snapper. He is the only kid I know who got a full ride immediately out of high school just to deep snap. He was lucky in that Ark. had a scholarship left and recruited him. He is a former Yellowjacket. I am the deep snapping coach, and I would like to take credit for it but I can't. He was just naturally good and worked really hard at it. He went to camps in the summer too. Has a chance to do it on Sundays. Free college education and a possible pro career to just snap the ball. As the saying goes nobody recognizes the snapper until there is a bad snap.

Enough football talk. Let's get back to the days at the 'ville.

Remember Heather Bolton. I remember working with her in the lunchroom. Thought she was pretty hot.

Loved Mrs. Jouette too.

Where is Shane "Moo Moo" "Mooch" Mauldin? I know he teaches in Wylie. He was one of the most intelligent people I remember from high school and a good friend. He and I used to rock out to Judas Priest and some pretty obscure metal. Loved the Striper shirts.

Big Jeff. Give us some love. You always remember things that I have forgotten. You and I were inseparable from around 7th grade on. Don't share too much though. Didn't you and Keeli Rice have a wedding ceremony in like the 2nd grade on the playground of Tatum.

Kyle, remember the trips to the middle school and high school in 4th grade with Mr. Hawthorn. We got to see the drill team work in the mall of the HS.
I was pumped when you moved back in the 4th.

I forgot about the wedding ceremony on the playground at Tatum...lol Keep it up this is bringing back some good memories!

Beau Bridges

I remember that being with Addington but couldn't remember Keeli.
Who remembers this off the top of their heads?

Hail Farmersville High School
hats off to you.
Ever you'll find us loyal and true.
Firm and undaunted, always we'll be.
Hail to the school we love, here's a toast to thee!

I hadn't thought of that in forever!

Renee Latimer (Flint)

OK Beau, are you sure you didn't look that one up? I did not remember that one at all.

Kyle Chapman

Absolutely remember the trips with Mr. Hawthorne! I kind of lucked out being your friend since he was your neighbor. Seeing those young ladies working out...Wow what a privilege.

Random thoughts:
Mr. Henslee? Was he the driver?
Mailbox Destroying, poor Gracy
The Beer Barn close to Merit
Trying to date Princeton girls just to piss off the guys
Pep Rally's to the square, riding on the Big Rig!!!
Rusty drinking Soup for 6 weeks (the jaw again)
Addington getting in a fight at the Community game
Swinging Gate (football again)
$8 Busch Beer for a case...We'd save up money from lunch and make a beer run
The Varsity Locker Room....Our Domain! had indoor/outdoor carpet, no privacy, Admit it girls how many times did you walk through the Gym to get a peak?

09/24/09 01:43 PM #308

Sam Day

Yeah, well some of us purposely stood in front of that door so that the girls in the gym got a good look...lol

Kyle Chapman

I believe me and Keeli had an affair in the 4th grade. Sorry, Addington didn't know she was married.

Rusty was with Nicole and I was with Keeli on Nicole's front porch.

Remember the old baseball field by Nicole's house..Did a lot of hanging out there. Beau, I think you used to live by there as well. We'd get water from the train and find old "girlie" magazines at the park. Don't remember how those got there.

Was the beer barn that old barn out in the middle of nowhere where the guy kept all that nasty old wine from when he used to own a liqour store???? I remember going to an old barn out in the middle of nowhere when we were flat broke and drinking some of the nastiest wine ever!

09/24/09 01:50 PM #311

Kyle Chapman

That was it. Rumor has it my brother got pelted with buckshot trying to get some...he has never admitted that.

09/24/09 01:53 PM #312

Sam Day

Geez....It's no wonder we are all not in jail or dead after all that we did in high school.

09/24/09 02:01 PM #313

Beau Bridges

Yeah Kyle, we lived in that little house for a year while our new house was being built. I remember being over at your house all the time playing that bumper pooltable you had, listening to Kiss albums and your mom making us fried bologna sandwiches.
We'd chase that train caboose for half a mile till they threw out a little milk carton like container filled with nasty, warm water that you couldn't even drink. Or putting coins on the train tracks to see if they could get crushed.
I think me, you, Rusty and Jeff used to play Kiss in first grade before you moved away and you always insisted on playind Gene Simmons.
Remember that remote control R2-D2 you had?
@Renee, no I didn't have to look up the school song but I did have to think about it for a while.

The barn: TJ Swan and Malt Duck also found some pornographic novels. The liquor was actually in the garage by the house. Craig Cooper and I hired some kids to do our dirty work and break in. We had about half of the Red Truck filled up with cheap bourbon whiskey. Ironically it got stolen from my pasture a few days later. We were bootleggers for a weekend.

Jesse Harbin was the old man. We would get bored and follow him around. Craig Cooper and I would prank call him sometime. Bless his heart.

David Brewer on the bus at the tennis courts, "Don't forget the schoolhouse song." David are you out there?

We are coming out with KISS M&M's at Walmart to celebrate their new album the weekend of our reunion. I'll try to grab a bag. The Gene Simmon's are mine!!!

Beau was Peter I believe. I was Paul Stanley. I got to go back stage in 99 at KISS concert. What an honor to meet the greatest front man in rock. I met Paul Stanley and drank beer in his tent at Starplex. I also was on the 3rd row. I am still a huge KISS fan.

And every day in kindergarten, Rusty and I would try to push Mary Ann White into the boys bathroom just to see her freak out. You're right, we were thugs.

Sam Day

Outrage still rocks! "I'm Screamin for Speed!" "Rock Soldiers"....I remember dragging all that equipment to the Town East Mall to their recording studio to make a demo. We must have looked like a bunch of idiots dragging those drums and guitars, etc through the mall that day! Shane "Mooch" Mauldin on drums, Mike Porter on bass, Beau Bridges vocals, and Stevie Benton, guitar! Didn't you guys do your first gig as some girl's birthday party or something??? Later I think Mike Luce and Chris Spain joined the band.

09/24/09 02:30 PM #319

Sam Day

I remember Ms Blackard coming over to Porter's house and climbing up into the attic to check you guys out before the talent show....She was freaked out to say the least I think...lol

09/24/09 02:46 PM #320

Beau Bridges

Ugh, don't remind me of that. I think Porter has a copy still and it sounds like crap still. Of couse who could forget 21 music magic and that lousy video me, Stevie, Mauldin and Wesley Biggs sent in. I think I regretted that as soon as it happened.

You guys remember the stink bomb I think Paula Craddock dropped in the school lunch room in the high school that day....It cleared the whole school out and Hemby was pissed....Had us all in the gymnasium chewing on us forever trying to find out who did it! I remember that thing was nasty! I remember Jeff Steele looking at me and going, "Dude, was that you?" and about that time everyone just started freaking out and running out of the building. The smell was overwhelming!!!

Who was it that dropped the M-80's down the toilets and busted the water pipes flooding the bathroom?

Who lit the roll of toilet paper on fire that time and threw it into the bathroom causing us to evacuate the school because the fire alarm went off?

09/24/09 03:05 PM #322

Renee Latimer (Flint)

OMG LOL!!!!!!

No wonder the teachers were dreading our class freshman year!

09/24/09 03:06 PM #323

Beau Bridges

I remember the stink bomb but not the others.
I wanna hear Kyle tell the story of the time he was in the car with Greg Mason and Jim Ed Johnson when they outran all those county sheriffs on the backroads.

09/24/09 03:18 PM #324

Shannon White (Caldwell)

HOLY Ship High in Transit!!!!

I'm surprised you guys left the school standing at all. My biggest felony was skipping school for senior skip day. Kim Donnell and I did it together, I think.

I'd claim vandalizing Rusty's car but I don't remember doing it :(

Kyle Chapman

Beau, All I remember of that night is begging Jim Ed to slow down to 55, so I could jump out. Jim Ed let me and Gregg off about 2 miles out of town and we walked back to the Mason's home. Mindy probably remembers this better than me, but I remember the cops showing up to the Mason's house and Gregg asking me to hide will he was ushered out. He never did give me up. I'm guessing I snuck out the house after he left. Scariest night of my life. We literally were doing 100+ on back roads between the F'ville and Greenville, somewhere out in Copeville region. He would turn his lights off and that is how we lost the cops.

09/24/09 03:40 PM #326

Renee Latimer (Flint)

OK, so does that mean Jim Ed gave Gregg up and not you? How did the cops know to go to the Mason's house. Was Barbara and Donny home? Sounds like you got lucky in two ways, one being your still alive.

Derrick Hagler

Spain re-told this story the other night. He does a great job re-creating it all.

Stevie & I were in the back of Jim Eds truck one night when he had driven out to someones house to call them out to get an ass whipping. Some guy came out with a shotgun and threatened to shoot us.

He was hauling ass down a rock road with no lights and no telling how fast. We talked about jumping but there was fencing on both sides of the road.

I kissed the ground when I got out of that truck.
