7/31 update

I now plan on coming to the reunion, and if my schedule works I will be there Saturday night for some beers with you all. It will be nice to get reacquainted with people I haven’t seen in some time and to meet for the first time people I didn’t know back then.

----

Still working in broadcasting. Now I work in the news department for Iowa Public Radio reporting on arts and culture stories and producing full length shows. I'm also doing side audio productions including my own ambient music stuff and after a long absence of work in video I started doing short autobio videos with a small handheld Flip Mino camera. I moved to Des Moines last November but prior to that I had maintained a residence in Fort Dodge since high school. Dude, like for real. No kids or wives in my past, just me.

School Story:

So for my last day of high school I wore my George Carlin t-shirt that said on back "Simon says go fuck yourself".

In 1987 I started working in radio as a weekend DJ for the now defunct KX-92. Shortly after high school graduation I switched to KTPR which led to a long and rewarding career with public radio.

Ever notice how spring and fall sometimes feel the same?

I didn't move to Fort Dodge until 1986 when I was a sophmore. Before that I lived in Kellogg and went to Newton High school for my freshman year. Living in a small town with an Apple II/e computer. Not much changed when I moved to Fort Dodge. Spend a lot time on the computer and later audio production equipment during the 80s.

For whatever reason I haven't lost much of my hair, in fact it has a life of it's own. If I don't use hair product I get this Gil Scott-Heron "The Revolution Will Not Be Televised" look goin on. I know wild, right?

In 1999 I published my first full length ambient record "Resonance". Nearly a decade later in 2008 I put out my second title "Subtle Reminders: Juno 60 Ambient Electronic Music". I have three albums in production now and I think the next one to be published is "Full Flavor of the Blue Sky". My music is available from the iTunes music store. I'm what you call a way independent artist.
