ROBERT W. DUKES Clyde, NC - Robert W. Dukes, age 63, of Bobcat Trail, passed away on Sunday, March 25, 2012 at his residence. A native of Opa Locka, Florida and a former resident of Port Saint Lucie, he had resided in Haywood County for the past three and a half years. He was the son of the late Woodrow and Louise Harbourt Dukes and was also preceded in death by one brother, William E. Jackson. He was employed in the swimming pool industry for more than 35 years in Florida and was a member of the National Spa and Pool Institute. He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Diana Hoerber Dukes; one brother, James Jackson and his wife, Jean, of Stuart, Florida; one brother-in- law, Douglas Hoerber and his wife, Susan, of Lantana, Florida; as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins

So sad to hear of Robert's passing. He was always so sweet and had a great way of making you feel like a real person. He will be missed but know that he is pain free and really enjoying playing in the new band!
