Ha ha ha speaking of being in pieces you are so funny. I have to decide if I am going on the 19th, 20th or 21st. hmmmm maybe the 19th and 20th. Sandy is getting excited. I am flying my son and his girlfriend down to Florida too. My oldest granddaughter resides in GA so I am getting her down too. Mom is going to be so excited. I wish my dad was still around he would enjoy these kids. He will be there in spirit. One of my sons can't make it down there or he would be coming with us. We are going to have a blast. I can't wait to eat some good seafood again. I am definetly going to get some gator yummmmmmm can't wait.

Love you guys.

They recently added a tiki bar/restaurant at the Dockside Inn. I understand the food is great but haven't eaten there yet. If nothing else, it has a beautiful view and looking east you can see the old Dynamite Point - brings back lots of memories of when we were in school and spent our spare time at the beach. The beach is still glorious here. Hope those of you coming from out of town will have a chance to visit the beach while you are here.

Wow,40 years,NOT!! Although I didn't arrive at DMHS till my junior year, I still have plenty of fond memories. Returned from California in 07 and have been raising grandkids that keep me young. I'm so busy I almost forgot to sit down and sign up for the reunion.
These profiles and pictures sure bring back lots of memories. I can't wait to see all of you, and hopefully, I'll get a chance to fill out my profile.

Which beach Lois? South beach? I have been away so long I will have to bring Sandy along everywhere to show me where the ol stomping grounds are. I moved from Fort Pierce, in 1973 to Vero so I have been away a while. You all are going to have to jog my memory. I do know that our ol house is still standing. I will have to go by there. Miss you all.

It's getting so close and there are so many that haven't registered. I pass people on the street everyday that should be on this list that aren't. I ran in to Charlie Calhoun (Porky) last week, he promised me he would call Rick and Jimmie Anne. Still I don't see his name as registered (yes I realize it's past the deadline). Helena Glover passed me while I was walking my dog the other day in a Ford Explorer so I know she's in town. Richard Steele lives down the street but I haven't seen him since before the reunion stuff started. I've been meaning to write Shefield Abood's office number down from his office sign and post it hoping people would bug him until he gives in...and Doctor Young, I just can't believe isn't coming. I wish I could take the rest of the week off and form a possee(sic) and go round these people and more up. I will see the faithful there this weekend...thanks for being among those that just can't forget. I know I never will...

Tommy what a great memory. Yep it was the Gold Wolf....

Gawd that was a great place. Remember the Caticomb. That was downtown in the ranchland building. That was fun too. Also remember the TV show. Jim Diamond did alot for us teens. Wish I knew if he was still around. My sister and I sang with the Agency for a bit. Jim use to play our song after the national anthem in the mornings on channel 34. OMG did I remember all that.

We had a great life. I was never afraid to ride my bike everywhere. I remember one time Judy Smith, Cherra(I think) Robin gawd who else was with us,There was a bunch, anyway we tried hitchhiking to the beach. Man we were brave. hahaha

See you all soon. Hope we all talk and get memories flying.

It was so much fun to visit with so many of our classmates last night. Seemed like the evening was over before I had a chance to talk with everyone. Hopefully, I will get around to those that I missed at tonight's dinner/dance. Wish all our classmates could be with us to share this time of fellowship and renewal of old friends. I am looking forward to seeing everyone tonight. Cheers!

Jimmie Anne, Rick and et al,

Thank you, thank you, thank you, to the whole DMHS 69 commitee for a wonderful reunion. The venue was perfect, good food, good drink and great company.

And all the dancing with Jackie and Beverly.

I will write more when I get home. Love to all, Mike

Thank You to everyone who help arrange this wonderful reunion ! I can't imagine that it could have gone any better. But then again, I wouldn,t expect anything less from the "CLASS OF 69". We were great then and we're great now. One difference....We were the "HIP" crowd, Now we're the "BROKEN HIP CROWD". A special Thank You to Jimmie for ressurecting me from the dead !! From now on, I have established one, very impotant rule, so pay attention.....IF I AM REPORTED DEAD, DEMAND TO SEE THE BODY !
All my Love to all of you,
Patty

I enjoyed seeing everyone!
I was lucky enough to sit with a great group at dinner. Jackie making phone calls to get her mother to remember things WE couldn't remember, and her sister Sandy's "dancing fingers" (you had to be there).
I also enjoyed the "breaks" outside with fun and lively conversations...
I was touched by the people who went out of their way to give a hug or made a point of saying hello. The experience is one that will continue to make me smile.

Hi gang,

What a wonderful reunion, lets do it again. As a matter of fact it will probably be cheaper next time as we will all qualify for senior citizen discounts. (lol)

You got it, Jackie!

Keep up the good work. GO WAR EAGLES! Mike

Classmates, It was so good to see all of you. Jim and I had a great time. I especially want to thank those of you who took time to come to the Memorial Service for Lynn. Also, thanks to everyone who made a point to come and express your sympathy at the various venues. I'm sure Lynn was watching us, and was with us all in spirit. She would have loved seeing everyone, as I did. It was so good to see all you folks after all these years. To those of you who did all the work, Congratulations, what a great job.
