Thank you for inviting other classes! I really look forward to attending your reunion. We were so close that I find the distinction betwen the classes of 1968 and 1969 indescernable...is that a real word? Is it spelled correctly??? I will try not to embarrass myself (or you). Now for a brief recap of my life: I entered the US Air Force after IRJC (The school has gone through some name changes since then), was assigned to Eglin AFB FL, and spent the vietnam era at a support group flying out of Ching Chuan Kang AB, Taiwan (where my 'china doll' - Tricia - was born). After CCK I was assigned to Langley AFB, VA - Headquarters of Tactical Air Command followed by Lajes Field, Azores Portugal - Beware of the Portusese wine! After receiving my BA from Saint Leo College, just outside of Tampa, the USAF gave me a commission. I then went to Wuerzburg, Germany where I lived with my brothers in arms assigned to the US Army. What a beautiful country. I ended my career at Tinker AFB, OK (Glad to be back flying with the air force). While in the USAF I enjoyed the 'Blue Lagoon' of Keflavik NAS, Iceland; the roman ruins near Cagliari, Sardinia; the gold markets of Riyadh and Al Jubail, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia; and the decadent lifestyle of Nellis AFB, NV. (Did you know there are schools, bike trails and parks in 'Lost Wages'?) I participated in Desert Storm flying out of Incerlik, Turkey. I retired from the USAF in 1992, received my MBA from the University of West Florida - HELLO Jim and Linda (they live in Pensacola) and thanks for the Turbo Dog! For the next two years I worked as an American Express Financial Advisor in Las Vegas. While visiting family in Fort Pierce I met Luci. Within 6-months I had relocated and taken a position as a Principal Analyst with the St Lucie County Board of County Commissioners. When the Clerk-Treasurer (CFO) position with the St Lucie County Fire District became available I applied and was accepted. I have been there since. Luci manages residential property at the Willoughby Cove complex in Stuart.
