After graduating from Concordia, I attended and graduated from Ravens Croft Beauty College. I practiced cosmetology for 18 years. During that period, we purchased property north of Hoagland and developed Vallihilla Airport, where I learned to fly.

We started DNJ Enterprises, an industrial tool supply company, which provided equipment and tools for special industries in Indiana, Ohio and Michigan.

In 1987 we moved to Venice, Florida. Since then we've traveled extensively in North, Central and South America, plus Europe. We have taken several Caribbean cruises --one through the Panama Canal -- also two around the world trips -- one by air and the other by cruise ship.

I enjoy several hobbies: music, golf and bridge. I'm most grateful for my Lutheran education and God's blessings.

Looking forward to our class reunion in Sept. I hope a lot of our class will show up.

I feel strange talking about me. Life is about all my family and friends past and present. I have done a lot of wrong, but I found God or I found my way back to God, thanks to my family and friends.

I am thankful to say life is good and it is time to give to others and that is what I have been doing for 20 years. I had the privilege of teaching Bible study to CWF women. I have chaired and raised several thousand dollars for church and missions. I work in a kitchen at church and cook meals for the homeless.

This is not what I wanted to write. This is what we all should be doing. This is what Concordia taught us -- what Concordia is all about. This is now My life. I thank God I am able to do it at this time and He is using me to help others.

It has been three months since Cart passed away. I am trying to up date the house so I can sell and down size. Our home is to big and to much land for me to take care of. I am still featured on the end of a paint brush. I have packed a lot of stuff but a lot more to do. Now is the time for a BIG Garage sale. I think Cart saved everything.
I am looking forward to the fall party I will fly home for that. I hope to see a lot of you there. Thank you for your support these last months. God bless all of you. Stay healthy!!

The birth of Jesus is just days away and I look back on this past year at all of my blessings. I guess the BIG event, or most enjoyable was the class reunion. I can't thank the committee enough for all the hard work they did. Friday night was fun and a good idea; if you could not make it on Saturday, this was still a chance to see classmates and reunite. Saturday was lovely. The setting was perfect. The entertainment was great, and to see some of the teachers was special. A big "Good Job" to all of you who made an effort to attend the reunion. It was wonderful to see all of you and have a good visit.

Now to get all the pictures I took to all of you is my next step. The computer and I are not the best of friends; but I will not give up.

Cart and I did take several side trips before we pointed the car south to paradise. Three weeks is a long time to be away from our child "Cricket", our 7-year-old red poodle.

Thanksgiving was a good time, Cart and I have people in who do not have families here or are all alone. No one should be alone on any holiday, there is always room for one more.

So here we are at Christmas and I am ready. I have been calling some classmates to wish them Merry Christmas and a Happy Healthy New Year. So if I did not call you, this is your call. I also made myself a little promise when I see that one of you has a Birthday, I would e-mail you. I hope I don't goof that up???
