Chat Forum Posted Monday, February 25, 2013 09:09 PM Janet Schoenefeld (Buuck) 02/25/13 05:32 PM I thought it might be fun to post things of interest that would create a flow of conversation back and forth between classmates...a way to reconnect. So, i will start with asking a question like: Name something you have done that no one would know...something fun or hobby of interest...like hunting, fishing, wood working, quilting, butterfly collecting (Bill Russell!), etc. I love to travel, but because of Dick's disability, we don't go except to family. However, in 1997 my daughter and her husband took me along for 5 wks to Indonesia on their business trip. What fun I had (and got time off work too!). Most fun...parasailing over in Bali. I loved sailing up above the ocean. Always wanted to do a parachute jump...tandem. Anyone else want to do that...or have you done it? I look forward to hearing your unique items of interest. Wow! The next big snow storm is here...looks like big snow feathers outside. Second blizzard in a wk. I LOVE it! Jan Buuck |

RE: Chat Forum Posted Tuesday, February 26, 2013 12:08 AM I have another note...this is a sad one. Many of you know the Goeglein family and tonight I learned that Janice Goeglein, Jerry's wife, passed away following a severe stroke. I knew her and admired her since a young girl as Janice was 4 yrs older than I at Zion. I admired her for her kindness and her faith. She came to my dad's funeral...so kind of her! I often would go out to visit her when I could on our return trips back home. It's with a heavy heart tonight that I am aware of the brevity of life...her's too short. This makes the importance of our reunion more significant to me. I am reminded that she is now in heaven, seeing her Lord and her loved ones there. What a comfort. I read and loved the book, Heaven Is For Real...anyone else read it? Very comforting. Janet Schoenefeld Buuck |
