Debbie Forbes

After CRHS I attended TCU, continued working in our family companies and eventually became a corporate officer in both corporations. We still own our automotive engine rebuilding business & I manage that company on a daily basis, but our main focus now is in our corporate real estate company. With many commercial properties right outside downtown FW, we are currently involved in properties surrounding the new Trinity River Project. I plan to be retired and doing volunteer work to keep busy in a matter of 5 years. I enjoy swimming, playing with my nieces & nephews, my animals and traveling with my friends some of whom I've had since middle school.

I guess most of my funny memories stem from the choral/drama department. Tim Spraggins hiding in the robe closet making noises trying to scare Mrs. Lambert but cracking the whole class up, Tony Sinclair putting fried chicken in her purse & super gluing her thermos. Mrs. Taylor being absolutly hysterical the year she was pregnant, telling David Phillips his antics were going to make her go into labor. All the trips to fast food spots for her cravings. Vincient Martinez getting us all thrown out of Poncho's. I enjoyed my years at Carter, being the pianist for the school was great, the musicals, the singing, the UIL comps. I enjoyed playing for the prom, the graduations, performing in all the school programs it was a blast.
