Comments:

Let's see...I got in a big hurry and married at 18, much to the chagrin of my friends, and fortunately have been lucky enough to remain gainfully employed for the last 30 years. Spending the majority of it, working in "Corp. America" in the areas of human resources, operations and sales. I am licensed in real estate and have recently decided to try my hand at being an entrepreneur-(I recently opened a hair salon in Highland Village.) I have also been busy raising a family of whom, I'm proud to report, can all do their math homework by themselves (something that escaped me.) Brian is in his last year of law school, has a master's degree in accounting from UT -go horns! Dustin, after serving in the Air Force, is working in finance, and sweet little Katie is 10 going on 20. We have lived in and around the metroplex for the most part minus a stint in Georgia. My husband Bruce, is a homebuilder and we are involved in our church, our children, enjoy snow skiing, lake activities, and are fortunate to have all our family local and in good health. My mom and dad are doing well and appear to be in some sort of a time warp. They too, attended Carter and had their 50th class reunion a few years back. I think the healthy lunches we had in school may account for this phenomenon. I'm looking forward to seeing old friends and catching up with everyone.

School Story:

What I remember most, is the creativity of our class. It seems like all we needed was an imagination and a few bucks for gas and we could find a way to create some interesting memories. Once we got past the "grueling academics" (Mr. Falkenbury, -he was tough) we moved on to Friday football, slumber parties, riding downtown hotel elevators, climbing fire escapes, roaming the halls during class (I actually had a laminated hall pass), Pizza Inn, Speakeasy, Spaghetti Warehouse, concerts, Young Life, hanging out with my friends, Pam, Susie, Gina, Glenda, Rhonda, Dorrian, Chuck, Tracy, Tony, Ken Wally, and of course, our dear Ricky. While I have acquired many new friends through the years, none are more special to me than my high school friends. They are the ones who know me best and love me the most.
