I graduated from Texas Wesleyan and started teaching in Azle. Shelley DuPuy introduced me to my husband, David. We have been married for 21 years. We have two kids, Megan and Matt. Our family attends Faith United Methodist Church, formerly Riverside United Methodist Church. We volunteer in many areas at church, including mission trips in the summer. Megan was on the tennis team and a member of the Richland High School color guard and band while in high school. She graduated last year and is attending University of North Texas in Denton. Matt is in the 10th grade and is also a member of the Richland Rebel Band. He plays the trombone and baritone. I have volunteered and traveled with the Richland Band to Indianapolis, Chicago and throughout Texas. You havent truly experienced a road trip until you travel 21 hours (one way) in a charter bus to Bands of America Grand Nationals marching contest with a group of high school students.
I have taught school for 24 years. I have been in the Birdville I.S.D. for 18 years. The last 12 years at Green Valley Elementary teaching special education Kindergarten.
