Site Update - 11/25/08

I sent an e-mail out to everyone that had signed up as of yesterday afternoon (check your SPAM folder if you didn't get it), but thought I should probably post it for others as well:

I just wanted to welcome everyone to what will hopefully become the new home of the Class of ’99!

I've been working on the site for a few weeks and had not really told anyone about it, however, a few people stumbled upon it when they googled themselves – I still think that is hilarious!

But yesterday was the first day the site was actually "advertised" by one of the members on the wonderful World Wide Web, and we now have over 20 people signed up!

So we are off to a good start, but we still have a long way to go. My original goal was to get at least 100 classmates signed up, and with all of your help, I think that goal is certainly attainable.

So please do your best to spread the word to others. If you know someone’s e-mail address, you can type in the Missing Classmates box on the homepage to send them an invitation to join the site (might get sent to SPAM folders). But if you have several e-mail addresses, I would recommend sending a mass e-mail to them with some info about the site and of course the site’s address: www.mvhs99.com

Spreading the word is certainly important, but just as important is using the site to catch-up on what everyone's been doing over the past decade! So after you update your own profile, be sure to check out the profiles of everyone else, send some people a message, post something on the message board or even take a trip down memory lane by checking out our yearbook - and the best part about this site is that you can do everything absolutely free!

I’ll be constantly trying to think of things to add and improve, but I certainly could use some help! So if you have any suggestions or something you'd like to see or old pictures from high school, send them my way and I’ll see what I can do.

So thanks again for joining and hopefully you too are looking forward to getting this reunion off the ground!
