Important Reunion Info!
Posted Monday, October 19, 2009 09:04 AM

Class of ’99,

We are less than six weeks away from our 10-year reunion, so now is the time to start getting serious about it!

As indicated before, we have decided to hold the reunion at The Spot, a bar in Castleton owned by classmate Kyle Gilliatt and his wife, on Saturday, November 28th at 7:30 PM.

I have been working with Kyle in regards to the setup and the cost, and we came up with a price point of $25 per person. This will include your consumption of selected beers & wines, soft drinks and water for the evening, as well as selected appetizers that will be available buffet style throughout the night. It will also include access to our own private area in the bar and other minimal expenses such as name tags, decorations, etc.

I think this price point is very reasonable, and I’d like to thank Kyle in advance for making his place of business available to us, and I’m sure they’ll take great care of us that night!

So now that the price has been set, we really need everyone to finalize their RSVPs by registering & paying for the reunion by November 21st!

This is really important because to appropriately plan for this and to give Kyle an accurate number of attendees, we need everyone interested in attending to officially RSVP for this in advance - and an official RSVP includes both registering & paying for the reunion by doing the following:

Registering for the Reunion

Once you have signed up on the website, you need to click on the 10-YEAR REUNION link on the left-hand side of the page and complete the survey questions (if you have already done this, please check that the information you previously entered is still correct). This lets me know that you are coming to the reunion. If you want to let the rest of the class know you are coming to the reunion, click on the Edit Profile link on the left-hand side of the page and click the appropriate radio button to indicate Yes or No for the question towards the bottom of the page.

Paying for the Reunion

There are two ways you can pay for the reunion:

1)      I will be sending out PayPal bills to everyone’s e-mail address (please make sure they are accurate!) that has registered for the reunion so far. PayPal is a company owned by eBay that provides a safe and reliable way to make payments online through the use of a credit card. You don’t even have to open an account to pay the bill, and this process is one that I have used for several years for a variety of other things. However, because PayPal takes a percentage of the money being sent, the PayPal bill you receive will include a $1 convenience markup per person, so they will be $26 for an individual and $52 for a couple.

2)      If you’d rather avoid the online payment option & the $1 markup, feel free to send cash/check ($25 for an individual, $50 for a couple) to me at the following address:

Luke Webber
9265 Counselors Row, Suite 100
Indianapolis, IN 46240

And the sooner everyone can complete the two steps above, the better, because that means less hassling by yours truly!

Once you have officially RSVP’d, you can click here to access a reunion flyer that you can print off and put on your fridge or calendar – this is also available home page as well and can be something you can send out to other classmates that might not have signed up yet.

And speaking of those missing classmates, please keep in mind that there are still several that have not signed up on the site yet, so if you know of classmates that you think might be interested in attending the reunion, you need to get them to sign up and register for the reunion ASAP as the big day will be here before we know it!

And if you have any questions, please shoot me an e-mail.

Thanks,
Luke Webber

First round of PayPal bills went out to those who have registered for the reunion so far.

You should be able to pay this bill using a credit/debit card without having an account.

If you think there is an error in the amount of the bill, please do not pay and contact me about issuing you a corrected bill.

However, if you would pay by cash or check (made out to me), please send $50 to the following address:

Thanks,
Luke
