Children/Grand Children: AFTER 11 years of marriage, Michaela and Keegan made me a GRANDMOTHER in August of 2020. Evelyn Kay More…Bratsch was worth the wait!!! In March of 2023, William Michael (Liam) Bratsch joined his big sister. My daughter Michaela, born 1988, has a Ph.D. in Chemistry, and she teaches chemistry at Iowa Colony High School.
Keegan is my wonderful son-in-law, and he is an engineer.

My son Ross, born 1990, graduated from the Auguste Escoffier School of Culinary Arts in Boulder, and he graduated from UH Downtown in December of 2023. He and Morgan Whitson wed on June 15, 2024! They live in Pottsboro, Texas.

My children mean the world to me, and I've done all I can to spoil them while still hopefully raising them right!

I am finally retired!!!

I enjoy spending time with my children and my grandchildren, and I am blessed to have close friends I enjoy.
School Story:

As many of you know, I skipped 11th grade when my father took a job in Chicago. I did not want to graduate from a high school in Illinois. Daddy later turned down the job there, but I ended up graduating with the Class of 1969, though my heart is with the Class of 1970!

Gary and his brothers, Terry and Larry, lived next door to the Teas family, where I spent lots of time during my teenage years, so I got to know the Beals very well. Rest in peace, Gary, and look up your former neighbor, Carolyn Teas.

My brother, Tom Gray, was the catcher for the team that went to, and won, the State Championship under Coach Carroll's leadership. As Randy mentioned in his post, we were fairly young, but my family went to Austin to support the Exporters! Tom was also the team captain, and that win meant so much to my family. Very exciting!!!

I did not see or read your six tiny stories until today, and I love this message. Thank you for posting this timely reminder!

In case there are still folks in the universe who haven't heard, I became a grandmother to Evelyn Kay Bratsch on August 19, 2020!!! My daughter has a daughter, and she is named for my mother, even though Mama was called Bunny her entire life. Evie is our ray of blessed sunshine in this crazy time!
