The Fridley High School Class of 1989 Twenty Year Reunion event has been scheduled for Saturday, August 22, 2009. The location of the reunion will be at the Mermaid Entertainment Center (Pool and Dart Entertainment Room) in Mounds View, Minnesota. The room was recently renovated in the past year and should be a fun place to spend the evening! The facility includes pool tables, video games, dart machines, and Touch Tunes jukebox. There will also be five lanes of FREE bowling available to our group for the evening.
The AmericInn Hotel (connected to the Mermaid) is offering a discounted rate of $99.99 per room for the night of August 22nd which includes breakfast in the restaurant. To receive the discounted price, please tell the hotel staff your reservation is for the Fridley Class of 1989 Reunion. The phone number for reservations is 763-786-2000.

In addition, an informal Happy Hour gathering at the Mermaid for is planned for Friday, August 21, 2009, to begin after the golf outing. You are on your own for food and beverages, however, the money spent by all is applied to our total financial obligation required by the Mermaid for the Official Reunion Event on Saturday. So this is a huge bonus to us! Everyone is welcome, not just the golfers!
As part of our planning process, we are trying to gather old class photos, videos, etc. to display/play at the reunion. If anyone is interested in putting this together and/or has pictures/videos to share, please email one of the committee members through this website! Any and all help is greatly appreciated!
PLEASE, PLEASE spread the word about registering on this website to any classmates you have contact with. A decision has been made to do all communication regarding the reunion AND the formal invite via email/website means, so it is very important to get as many classmates registered on this site as possible. Thank you for your help!
