James Taurus Rowland

It has been six months since my last profile update. Since that time my oldest daughter has graduated from high school and she is now ending her first semester at NCCU. Our 14 year old track team advanced to the Jr. Olympics in Omaha Nebraska (where her relay team place 8th and 6th in the nation (She will be much, much better than I ever was). She competed in her first cross county season where she placed very well for her first season. My two little ones continue to advance in karate. The 9 year old placed 2nd in her division in her first tournament (she is a fighter like her mother). My wife and I have been traveling quit a bit the last few months. Two of the best attractions were Hoover Dam and Vegas (did not gamble). However not much else has changed in our lives.

I really enjoyed fellowshipping with everyone at the football game and the reunion (especially those who wore their jersey’s). It brought back fond memories to see everyone and I look forward to the next gathering (maybe next time we could invite the class of 86 as well as 87 and 88).
